Hey silfae, I extracted cityscapes from your mods, fixed them so they don't spawn any unwanted ships and posted them all as a collection under your name.

I've updated the gameplay content from this mod (the custom empire and traits) to work with Stellaris 3.0.* - you must still subscribe to this one for it to work.

You can either set it on both or delete one of the the lines and set it on the remaining one.

@silfae Cool & thanks for the fast answer! Keeps the empire menu "clean" - but some of the files have the 'spawn_enabled' line two times - shall I just set both to '=yes'? Or is there a "right" one?

Can I also enable them to spawn, as described in your other mods to disable your custom empires to spawn, by editing their prescripted_countries file?

No plans for other Mass Effect species for the moment. All the mods will be updated as soon as the incompatibility bug is fixed in the next official patch.

You could throw the hair down his back and have it curve around the armor, for example.

That depends. The body would use the human model, but hair and armor are likely too spiky to remain within the borders of the hair and clothes meshes.

Got a request. How possible would it to create Saiyen portraits from Dragon Ball Z. Was inspired by my avatar, and now I'm thinking it would be awesome to have that in as a warrior race.

The names should be fixed for the next version. I'm unsure about the skipped clothes bug. For what concerns achievements, the dimorphism mods are the only ones that do not disable them, the others are like they are. Sorry, but I cannot create various versions of each mod, given the amount of material that I produce, it would quickly become impossible to keep everything always updated.

Since this mod conflicts with achievements, is it possible to get a standalone mod that's just the asari portraits, without the custom empire? All the other asari portrait mods really don't look as good as this one!

(If your portrait mods in general interfere with achievements, that might also help to know. I'm still very new to having Paradox games modded!)

Wonderful portraits, but I've got two small bugs that, uh, bug me; As Walker said I've found ships named "Unreadable String", and in some cases ship classes simply don't generate names at all!

Secondly and somewhat sillier, after installing this mod all of the clothing options on the leaders for the game's pre-made Empires (United Earth and the like) had jumped one step to the side, putting all the Empire leaders in rather unusual outfits unbefitting their lore! Any idea if that's your mod or something messed up with 1.5.1? It's a real oddity.

Just downloaded this mod and I love these portraits.

Only found one tiny problem: my science ship is named "Unreadable String", which I think happens because the namelist for generic ships is missing a quote, just before:

Hello silfae Love your mod! I was working on my own mod and found this in the error log

: Error: "Unknown modifier: pop_ethic_shift, near line: 14
" in file: "common/traits/asari_traits.txt" near line: 14

I had the same issue with a trait I made for myself I just swap in pop_government_ethic_attraction and it worked fine after that keep up the great work! :2016roasted:

I'll see what needs to be done after I've downloaded the patch; as for the new humanoid group, I'd be inclined to say no, considering that the custom groups allow for custom insults/greetings.

Ok, I'll deal with it :). I have a question: if I edit the race, save it and flag it to appear in all games, will both the edited and original races be present or just the edited one?

Thank you, but sorry I'd rather not create variants of what is pretty much the same thing, since then it becomes more tedious to keep everything up to date after vanilla patches.

The mod isn't that complex, you should be able to shed away the parts that make it Ironman compatible with a little work.

Great job! However can I ask for a "lite" version of this (and the Quarian) mod? I think this mod breaks Ironman (due to the Asai trait), so it would be nice just to have the portraits and the names available for selection in the Empire creator

I do know about the main religion, I'm not saying Asari do not have religions, I'm saying that what the Mass Effect games show is that their culture is not spiritual on the whole.

For what Stellaris is concerned, being Spiritual means having a powerful State religion, with the common people looking at the stars for mystic signs, praying for guidance and acting distrustful toward heathens.

The main ethics translating asari society in Stellaris are Individualism (which makes them not totalitarian) and Xenophilia (which makes them like other species).
Considering that in the lore the asari are paraded as the most tecnologically advanced of the Council species and that most asari met in game are either mercenaries or strippers, Materialism seems to me as a more appropriate third ethic, compared to either Pacifism or Spiritualism.

In this case, you would be worth to check out the wiki for the game . A specific section of "religion" in the article about the race Azari . But yes, certainly in terms of technology, they really promoted as if they were " materialists " by nature . In addition, they have a tendency to cooperation and peaceful resolution of conflicts. Unfortunately this realize this game is simply unable to, because the number of points the restriction does not do so, as well as the inability to simultaneously select a religious tendency to direct election.
