This is an absolutley horrible mod (for me) to play, because it is TOO DAMN DARK. Your not able to see AT ALL. At firsit, I thought the screen display blew out. The Eye strain alone, is more then enough to cause a headache. Yes, I know you can cast a couple spells for light, but even that does nothing to help. I tried to give it 45 mins of play time; that was too much time. The game crashed 6 times. Now if you want to go ~, tgm, and gain skills i guess this is OK. This is one of those times it looked great on paper, but really was nothing but disappointment when it came to application. In the decription it mentions it is REALLY DARK. A proctologist can see more then you from behind the keyboard. It may have been your first attempt, but it was a good attempt, and other players have left feedback and comments (wish I read them first); you can still salvage this mode..Make it fun.
For archers, try out the "Light Arrows" mod by Tralala, his light effects look really cool in this dungeon.
My warden did despawn too fast to loot the key but I spawned another via console.
Forgotten one was fun to fight, I cleared the area then sneaked up on him.
Took me 3 dagger sneaks to finish him.
Well now to go spawn some in whiterun hahaha
Sweet 2h mace, not terribly op'ed. But Armor over the top.
(For a non-cheater). Its "sad rewards", by all means. Try it. There IS only 2 slight errors.
Boss #1 might not let you get key - "cheating the doos <unlocked>".
2# Final boss might not die atall. (Believe me, i tried) - "cheating <kill>".
So.. even by cheating twice, this was still an immensely horrifying mod. i ALWAYS play in master difficulty, i have NO cheat items! And DONT use God Mode!!
Do this mod, dont mind cheating the two times you haf to, getting this run done.
Be proud you did this anyways, its hella hard.. or can be at master diff.
I just ended up putting the mace and armor on rack n' dummy in my humble estate in Solitude.
"my two CP", Aron Karg the Dragonbourne, LvL 82 AssW-ArchMagePalaRanger :P
Now, the Warden didnt drop a corpse, no loot , no key ? ? help ?
The "Fire Ghost Effect" is just a property in the base game which I've applied to all the pieces of the armour; it's just included in the enchantments, and should be purely visual. I can't really "fix" it, though there may be some details I can change around. For the time being, it's best to not use first-person view with the armour equipped; fine for melee characters (which the armour is meant for), not so much for mages & archers. The transparency effect shouldn't last so long as any of the armour is equipped as well, I'm pretty sure I at least corrected that issue.
I'll see what I can do in any case, but I can't offer any guarantees at the moment.
PS: to be exact: the boots make you burn everywhere - it'd be nice if it'd just let a fire trail or something like that...and i believe the gloves made u transparent, which would be nice to be able to turn off, too
and drained them all.Hardest fight I've ever gotten into.
