It would be pretty cool if we can get the vanilla door as a window.
SEModder4  [author] 3 Jun, 2017 @ 7:56am
Nah, clang doesn't affect these at all. :D

You can try and see. :D
AlyCrafticus 3 Jun, 2017 @ 6:35am
Can I hide cannons behind these and open them when needed? or would the wrath of clang destroy me?
SEModder4  [author] 29 Mar, 2017 @ 9:18am
Hey everyone, ever wanted all three of the Shutters and Blinds mod packs combined into one?

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=885670358

Check that mod pack out, I promise you will love it! :D
SEModder4  [author] 23 Jan, 2017 @ 12:19pm
That is strange indeed will take a look when I can. :)
CaptPatrick01 23 Jan, 2017 @ 12:17pm
On map load, the slats on the Hybrid style windows will no longer rotate shut, and just drop down like normal shutters. Though repainting/replacing them seems to fix the animation bug.
Gunner 3 Jan, 2017 @ 4:28am
yeap)
SEModder4  [author] 2 Jan, 2017 @ 2:42pm
Oh the hybrid opening/closing animations?
Gunner 2 Jan, 2017 @ 1:07pm
yes i see this you job. just i am like this new animation like in this mod ))
SEModder4  [author] 2 Jan, 2017 @ 10:30am
Did you check my main version of this mod, that one has the 2x1x1 blocks in it. :D

Gunner 2 Jan, 2017 @ 1:53am
Yes, 2 wide 1-tall and 1 depth
SEModder4  [author] 31 Dec, 2016 @ 11:25am
You want a 1x1x2 size window- so it would have depth to it or do you want it 2- wide, 1-tall and 1- depth?
Gunner 15 Dec, 2016 @ 10:29am
@SEModder4 i mean wide window version size 1x1x2 (i know my very bad english).

@Hyperion,

Sorry for the delayed response,

I wanted a seperate version to do some wacky stuff with the code and blocks. :D

@Gunner,

what do you mean window 2 block?
Gunner 15 Dec, 2016 @ 8:36am
Add long version please, window 2 block.
Hyperion 22 Oct, 2016 @ 1:59am
Why is this a separate mod and not already a part of the advanced shutters pack?
SEModder4  [author] 10 Oct, 2016 @ 12:42pm
You can remove that 500k triangles limiation in the options menu for your world. :)
QuintusJ 12 Sep, 2016 @ 6:21pm
There is a ship I wish to use in a survival exploration game but I believe in exploration you can have 500k triangles maximum, seeing as the ship has 9mil triangles this is obviously a problem
Zunkey 12 Sep, 2016 @ 6:17pm
Just curious to as why you want to have large ship blocks in a low poly count replacer?
It just seems weird to me about how PBR is done.
QuintusJ 12 Sep, 2016 @ 6:17pm
Oh didn't know about the triangle/poly fact. How about just making them use the model of a cube but with a different texture?
SEModder4  [author] 12 Sep, 2016 @ 6:15pm
Keens blocks aren't quite full PBR yet, and tbh I think they are about as low poly as they can get.

Triangles/poly is the same thing. :)
QuintusJ 12 Sep, 2016 @ 6:12pm
I meant a lower triangle replacer for vanilla blocks.
QuintusJ 12 Sep, 2016 @ 6:11pm
Hmm? Oh no not this. And by "poly" I actually meant triangle. Sorry for the confusion.
SEModder4  [author] 12 Sep, 2016 @ 6:10pm
They are only 21 or 22 polys to be exact. :)
QuintusJ 12 Sep, 2016 @ 5:47pm
Or just a more low poly design
QuintusJ 12 Sep, 2016 @ 3:46pm
@SEModder4 I don't know if you take mod requests but can you make something like this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=493135055&searchtext= ? I would appreciate it if it was a replacer and was the exact same size of the block it replaces. For those who want to convert a ship they want to use into a much more acceptable triangle count. It doesn't need to be on small grid but I would appreciate it if it was. Thank you
SEModder4  [author] 10 Aug, 2016 @ 10:40am
Still have yet to upload the patch for the Slanted ones. :)
SEModder4  [author] 10 Aug, 2016 @ 10:39am
Yup they are, I have fixed the Slanted ones but are waiting for Keen to update Stable branch with all the new features and stuff, whenever that is....
i hate you rara 10 Aug, 2016 @ 8:13am
is it airtight when closed?
SEModder4  [author] 25 Jul, 2016 @ 1:58pm
ok so it seems that Keen isn't going to add the new block grouping system to stable branch.

So I will downgrade to the Stable branch and publish the update so the airtight problem is fixed.
Zunkey 25 Jul, 2016 @ 1:26pm
Should be airtight, I will ask SEModder about it. Im preatty sure he fixed it, but I was away for a few days
WILDCATreactor 24 Jul, 2016 @ 9:18pm
This is a badass mod, can't wait for the airtight issue to be fixed, it'll completely change the drop-door layout of my troopship.
SEModder4  [author] 5 Jul, 2016 @ 2:22pm
=>Update won't be published until Stable branch meets the current dev branch to avoid any issues with the grouping code I did for the mod.
SEModder4  [author] 5 Jul, 2016 @ 12:36pm
@Dreamixpl,

They are indeed not being airtight when closed and I have found a solution to the problem. :D

I just have to fix the construction models for the slanted glass ones and then the update should be rolling out soon.

I have also adjusted the reflectivity of the glass ones to match Keens values: It was 0.892 and is now 0.192. :D

So much less CPU and RAM load now coming in this next update. :D
GAMEtatron 2 Jul, 2016 @ 9:53pm
These are great!

Here are a few suggestions for more features I would love to see:

1. Glass that is less reflective and less dark.
It can get a bit hard to see through the reflection now, and I’m fairly certain the high reflectivity also causes higher CPU usage and lag if a lot of these are used.

2. An offset version of the slanted ones that allow them to be placed over slanted walls or slanted glass, so you can have shutters over other types of slanted windows.

3. A modular frame system:
A version with the frame on the left, another with the frame on the right, one with no frame, one with the frame on the bottom only, one with the top only, one with top and left, top and right, bottom and left, and bottom and right. – This would allow for more modular builds where one could make windows with shutters of pretty much any size.

Again, these are great additions to the game! Thank you for making them! :)
SEModder4  [author] 2 Jul, 2016 @ 4:44pm
ok will try the world so I can fix it :)
Dreamy 2 Jul, 2016 @ 4:40pm
Redownloading did not help. Here's the world Link.
SEModder4  [author] 2 Jul, 2016 @ 1:50pm
Now I am not saying there's not a airtight bug, there clearly is one.

Can you try redownloading the mod to ensure it's up to date first since sometimes the mod system fails to overwrite the mod files in the mods folder and weird things happen.

Go to:

C:\Users\YourUsernameHere\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods and search for this number and clear that file:

708903746

Then let me know, also if you can publish that world it would work wonders so I can figure out why exactly they won't stay airtight and I can then apply a fix if need be. :D
SEModder4  [author] 2 Jul, 2016 @ 10:32am
Yeah I am aware that too many of the glass ones cause sim speed and FPS issues. Not quite sure how to fix it.

But I will try a few things. :)
Dreamy 2 Jul, 2016 @ 4:46am
Okay. That's definitely a bug. Here, you see "Slanted Hybrid Style without Glass". It is closed, obviously. It's all air-tight, as you see the green lights on the vent. Everything is fine:
screenshot1

Here, it's "Slanted Exhaust Vent". It's in the SAME EXACT POSITION as the "Slanted Hybrid Style" on the previous screen. It also is closed, so it SHOULD be air-tight, right? However, it's not:
screenshot2

The "Slanted Exhaust Vent" is problematic in this exact position, as I placed it on the screenshots. Instead of the vanilla windows, there can be any block, including armour blocks and your "Vents" or "Hybrids".
Zunkey 2 Jul, 2016 @ 12:41am
lagging alot more*
