as long as paradox doesnt manually tweak warscore/endgame scores
this could be compatible till the end of hoi4

i like the bomber warscore cause it can give some beefy bonuses. i hate how theres a 1000 limit to bombing though. If china's war goes late game nobody else can get warscore cause japan and china have 20m casualties split between each other.

Hi, I'm very keen on using this mod. Can you confirm whether this mod works with the No Step Back update?
Maria_Romanov 17 Aug, 2021 @ 1:20pm
It did nothing. Still status quo despite enemy losing all their manpower.

No need update, it is fully compatible, and will be after 13895 next patches.

Everyone hates the bombing because the AI could just be bombing, but you can be out fighting, and gets the entire country. for example, i was turkey, took over the middle east, and invaded russia with the axis, and japan who did barely anything, took almost the entire thing.

Casualties being counted as warscore should not even be a thing...just cuz you got all your men killed doesnt mean you helped lol. Now if it counted the number you killed it would be ok with me. And why does everyone seem to hate on bomber war score? I had like a 1000 bombers and only got like 2 warscore from it (vs over 1600 for taking over stuff)....

Don't suppose any chance of you making a just casualties one?

Thank you very much for this, definitely a hugely needed improvement to vanilla war scores and peace deals!

Thanks Fredwin and MadZhark!

Casualties being counted as warscore is a historical situation, but here it was observed as waaays unbalanced by all players around :)

Btw, updated mod to make sure you no longer see the "not compatible with 1.1" flag.

This mod is compatible with all versions of HOI and with all mods.

Yeah, can't say I understood the reasoning behind casualties being worth so much. Sure, it means they're in the thick of it but that doesn't mean they are doing anything strategically to actually win the war.

The other thing that bugs me is Naval Score at the end of the game, who cares how many fleets someone has? It's the composition of the fleets that should count.
