Aye, I know, this was one of my first serious maps so it was a bit exploring about how stuff exactly worked. The pedestal is indeed not needed but I just never bothered to take it out, same with the buttons on the elevators. At the time I didn't even know that elevators without buttons worked on their own :P
And to be fair, you can skip those elevators entirely, also something I just left in to make it look a bit more interesting (and leave in a 'safer' alternative way).

And yeah, the glass kinda needs to stay in for that reason so, unless I suddenly have a brilliant epiphany, I'll leave it as is.

Thanks for the feedback though, always appreciated.

The last pedestal button, to change the polarity on the funnel, confused me. I didn't see a need for it; it's possible to get where you need to be without using it, and, in fact, probably easier to get the cube there without it than with.

Overall a nice map, though! I lost progress because my jump wasn't quite fast enough the first time, but having seen the video below I understand why you have the glass wall in place, so I'm not going to suggest removing it.

BTW, have you tried it without the buttons rigged to the piston platforms, and with the platforms reversed? If they're not connected, I think those platforms will stay at their starting point and automatically go to their destination when stood on. I'm not sure this would be a better approach at all, though, because I think the buttons do encourage the player to jump down and stand on them, whereas they might be hesitant to jump to a platform not knowing if they'll be able to do anything there.

Thanks, my first plan was to make it a bit longer and involve several buttons to get the ball to the end safely, but I figured that might get boring after a while. May still try that in a future chamber though.

Very nice!! i love what you did with the Ball there, i had tried to do somthing like that but i could never get it to work reliably every time, but that was very well executed!!

Eagle, I finally got around to viewing your video. Thanks for pointing out that horrible flaw with the speed gel, I'll get on a fix for that when I get home (already have something pretty obvious in mind that should work :P ).
The jumping instead of using the funnel in the second 'room', I'm cool with that since you still should have to use the funnel further along in the chamber.

Fair enough, it might be a little bit unclear as to how to catch the ball but it's sort of in the name of the map and I don't want to make everything 'too' easy :P So I'll leave that in I think.

Thanks for playing it though! :D

I have to admit that ball rolling down the steps had me puzzled, not sure if intentional distraction or I skipped part of the test. Otherwise very fun chamber, love the turret incorporation.

Hey there, I think I... well... pretty much completely destroyed your map :) enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qmteifVCwE
Oh, and btw I totally had so much fun playing it and finding this (unintended) solution :)

Thanks! I made a minor adjustment which whould fix the possible exploit. It should all work as intended now.

Pretty good chamber, nice job
