@wdshown You might try using the Builder's Helmet mod. It lets you pick up most objects which are immovable after placement.

I'm glad you like the mod!

My initial plan was to add many more items that would fulfil an intermediate role, including but not limited to, a stone oven. But my life commitments have increased to a point where I have found it nearly impossible to carry on making mods. Because of that reason, I don’t think I’ll be able to do anything in the foreseeable future, ini options included. In fact those can take a surprisingly long time to do. Sorry! :-/

Love this mod, would love to see more goodies added in the future! Possibly between the refining forge and the industrial forge, as well as in-between for the cooking pot and industrial cooker as I don't feel any mods have done this effectively. Also maybe a mid-level version of the industrial grinder?

I have a small request if it's not too much trouble; could we possibly get .ini options to adjust the number of slots for the crafting stations and the brazier?

As well as .ini options to modify the cooking speed (in relation to the campfire) and amount cooked at one time on the barbecue? Same goes for the alchemy table to modify crafting speed (in relation to the pestle and mortar). Possibly also the burn rate for fuel in the brazier too.

Preserving salt and clay should both be craftable in the alchemy table now.

Oops! They're very old and not supppsed to be there anymore! I'm not sure how they found their way back into the mod! I'll remove them soon. :-D

Well I suppose in private servers you don't use bullets that often, but as I've played Official for a long time now, I learnt that bullets are a commodity everyone needs for their 80+ auto turrets maxed out. Everyone's always working their ass off to get more bullets.

Charcoal is already useful in other ways, you convert it to gunpowder, and then into bullets. Alpha tribes often need thse all the time. Throwing wood into industrial forges just to get shit tons of charcoal rapidly.

That's not really the point here though! The point is that to get to point C (e.g. more cooked meat and faster) one must convert A (wood) to B (charcoal) first. I made this for our server, based on our server's needs. We needed something halfway between the campfire and the grill, but we didn't want one of those cheat mods that made things too easy. As a bonus, it makes use of your leftover charcoal, if you have any.

But you can already get charcoal in the first place by burning wood. Charcoal in this game is used up pieces of wood that have nothing left in them to really burn, thats why it should be switched to wood, and not charcoal.

Charcoal, is good, if you make it properly.
Throwing a log into a camp fire, is not making it properly. Its still exposed to oxygen, and oxygen causes the charcoal part of the wood to consume the rest of its fuel, so all you're left with, is a lump of useless ash like charcoal that barely has any burnable assets left.

I believe thats why the developers originally didn't add Charcoal, as a fuel source in the game in the first place.

Yeah, it would mean a non-stackable mod. :-/

As for including wood as fuel, I'd have to say no, I'm afraid! This item is meant to cook things faster, but at the cost of using a secondary resource. Also, burning wood gives charcoal. Being able to use wood would mean getting charcoal; thus getting a free secondary resource just by using a primary resource!

I haven't used this yet, but the barbecue should also use wood. And should consume charcoal much faster than it would a lump of wood.

It would be nice if all three items could be crafted in the smithy though, this would make the mod unstackable though? Didn't think it'd be so difficult to add an item to an existing crafting table without making it unstackable with other mods.. Huh. :/

OK .. I have the bench. How do I use it. I made a potion. When I click on, or sellect the posion, "Use item", can not be setected. it's ghost out. HELP !!

Hello love the mod and how it fits into the world, I do have a question though... for 4 items it seems like a large mod at 164 MB. I run a lot of mods on my server and would like to keep load times as optimal as I can. Anyway to reduce the file size for this one?
