The Five-seveN fires a smaller and more pointy bullet at a higher velocity, allowing for better armor piercing, but reducing stopping power (in comparison to the usual rounds like 9x19mm). A sort of an example can be seen in World of Tanks, where longer low-caliber cannons deal less damage but have better penetration than shorter high-caliber guns of the same tier.
I have lowered the damager to compensate for the larger capacity, so that damage per magazine is the same (36 * 15 = 540 = 27 * 20); were it the other way around, I'd increase damage. But speaking of "a shit [ton] of damage", pistols do 36 damage, while the M16 Assault Rifle only does 33 per shot.
