You made my day a LOT. When i mean a lot i mean A LOT!!!!
MrLordSith 31 Oct, 2016 @ 5:32pm
Ok, that disassembly is even better holy crap
Clownacy  [author] 31 Oct, 2016 @ 5:27pm
I did say if you're using the disassembly with the AS assembler. You're using the asm68k one.

This is what i have in: https://gyazo.com/605e471e7fc2e3fd75c0a731019d6a35

I'm using the GitHub disassembly

@Holey moley! I do have the z80 in sound but it's a bin, not an asm.
MrLordSith 31 Oct, 2016 @ 4:44pm
Ok

v I'm working on a beta remake myself. I just need to learn ASM, make some changes, etcetera.

If you want, I can hand a sprite I made for it to you but if you use SonMapEd you'll need to set the background color to a VERY specific color...even then you need to resize the sprite to fit it into the stand sprite.

Thanks man :D

Assuming you're using a disassembly with the AS assembler, it should be in _sound/z80.asm_, called zPCM_Table.
MrLordSith 15 Oct, 2016 @ 4:59pm
Making the code for my beta remake. I do can change the sound to another "drum sound" but there's no code to change the pitch.

If I didn't create the hack, I'd expect people to report me. But, yes, I did make it. What do you need help with?
MrLordSith 14 Oct, 2016 @ 4:46pm
Did you create the hack? I need some help.
toonjoey 12 Oct, 2016 @ 5:44pm
Also this shows that the SEGA chant was not in the beta...so I'll say the chant was finished right before the game was shipped.

Looking at S1 proto material...this video shows you're spot on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3xZUSr2JAM

In other words, StoneBanana is incorrect.

Uhh... if the DAC driver was 68k-side, then the 68k would be totally occupied with the DAC stream loop; it wouldn't be able to process the game engine.

I know the Z80 driver has a pitch table, but the point of this hack was to be as authentic as possible to the prototypes, not to just finish what Sonic Team started.

Oh, that's what I mean...LOL thanks!

I don't have this game but I do have an emulator...I mean the ROM in bin file.
Clownacy  [author] 11 Sep, 2016 @ 2:00pm
What, is it not downloading or something?
toonjoey 11 Sep, 2016 @ 11:36am
I don't mean the proto LOL...although that'd be really cool. I mean the ROM for this.
Clownacy  [author] 11 Sep, 2016 @ 9:32am
The real prototype ROM? Darn, I wish...
toonjoey 9 Sep, 2016 @ 7:10pm
Now just get the real ROM to download...
