Do you mean altering the weapon model so it shows the laser sight or what have you? This mod doesn't do that, there aren't any assets for doing it.

Hi have gotten the slots to work and functions in battle - extend mag adding extra rounds etc,
but can see the modifications on the weapon as the are equipped or in battle.
does this mod add the visuals ?
any one confirm please ?

5 min fix for this, just add: RequiresXPACK=true to ModdableSPARKRifles.XComMod.

fixed it by my own. took me 5 mins... never listen to wanna dragon32 kacknaps. just think for yourself. the fix is and was easy. he linked a complete nonsense guide, just to show everyone, how retarded he is haha. pwned you. fucking loser.

it is not shown even on content/workshop folder. checked all folders. no moddable DLC weapons folder. even if I have followed the mod. what can I do about? why it is not even shown in my folders? please help.

@Dragon32 is clearly not capable in offering any soloutin to this. as he just linked an overall general trouble waste of time topic, that has zero to do with this. please someone a clear fix what exactly to change, to make this mod work again and be shown in the normal mod launcher, cause I cannot mod the weapons. please help.

Просто выполните поиск этого в XComLW_Overhaul.ini в моде Long War 2, а не в этом, и измените "Slots = 0 «сколько слотов вы хотите на своем оружии. Все оружие охотников пришельцев сгруппированы вместе. Не уверен, что это изменение будет работать на пистолете, хотя, возможно, все еще может потребоваться Mod Everything.

hi there, i already uncommented the whole green thext in notepad ++ and edited the slot into 3, but it doesnt let me upgrade the DLC weapon.

Additionally the following spams the logs:

It does not seem to me that this works for the Bolt Caster? I only get 2 slots - not 3. The Spark Rifle does work.

A belated thanks for the link. I've only gotten back to the game recently, and the linked mod worked beautifully! Also, I am from near Kyonggi, too - though that's long time ago, and I left Korea as a child! ;)

Can you update this mod?
Other weapons have no problem or have another way around, But the Darkclaw is non.
This pistol has no slots, and no pre-installed module. So, It is not moddable even with alternatives.

Strangely, Katana is moddable, like normal swords. Don't know why...

Use Remove Equipment Mods. It allows to swap Chosen weapon's modules.

Works for WOTC for sure, but doesn't allow modification of the new Chosen unique weapons so you can't swap out the pre-loaded mods.

Works with wotc. But save your game before adding attachments. Crashed my game one time. Also remove them with the help of a attachement removal mod before uppgrading the weapons.

boltcaster is called AlienHunterRifle, Pistol is called AlienHunterPistol, I didn't mod the axe because I'm not using Grimmy on this run but its called AlienHunterAxe. the Spark Rifle is caled just that Sparkrifle. Be sure to expand slot number on the _CV, _MG, and _BG versions of each thing that you want to be able to mod. Hope this helps

If you look back in some of the previous pages there are more detailed instructions of things you can do to fix this if uncommenting the lines doesnt work for you. Its possible you might need to make the changes directly into the long war version of the file.

The comments in those files start with a semi-colon. Use Notepad++ for edit, then it even shows comments in green like in many programming IDEs

@Mida2010 You probably cannot see the comments if you are using just the normal notepad. You need something like notepad++, and you'll see something like this in green. That's a 'comment'.
