Looks great.
love the stairs down, dont really like the trap doors much.
would like 2 see couple more shild racks maybe somewhere else in the house.
? possible - to add a third bedroom to adopt a kid ? ( on back of house maybe)

@Dralmir I have attempted multiple fixes for this mod but it appears that it won't be able to work with Hearthfire. At least for now. It has been reported that all Breezehome mods are crashing. I think the issue is with the new additions to houses bethesda added. I am going to talk with some modders and see if anyone came up with a solution.

@werner.klemperer The issues you are having may be due to the mod not being up to date. This was done back in May. The new version adds more bookshelves and fixes the mannequins. The weapon at the centre holder is now full visible but cannot be taken anymore. The mannequins a wandering around and sometimes the stair into the basement is even disappeared. What's the difference between the basement mod and the basement-single-cell mod ?

Hey everyone! A new version of this mod is near completion. It should fix mannequins and weapon plaques that wouldn't work with certain weapon sets. It also adds more bookshelves to the basement. It will be released as a new mod. Link will be here when its out.

@werner.k;emperer Yeah I am working on a fix for all of this. I have had a few people mention that there are issues with the weapon racks and mannequins. I have been talking to other modders and they have given me ideas on how to fix this issue.

I can’t grab the sword of the centre weapon holder in the basement back. It’s not active since I placed it there. Also the second Mannequin is always dressed in an amour no matter how many times I take it away from him.

Good job on this mod from what i've seen, aside from the issue with the mannequin on the right not working (which i think i know why) its a great little addition to my breezehome.

I had the same issue with a mod that i'm currently working on. What i did was make each reference editor ID different for each mannequin for it to work correctly. For example, PlayerHouseMannequin2

it has something to do with the xmarker headers i think. since mannie's are technically actors they have to be unique for each header, otherwise they'll get confused and referance the same thing.

figured all this out the hard way, lol

I found the exact mod that made your disappear. it was a russan authored mod that had to do with lighting shadows. I have also had a couple of minor wepons rack issues on occation. I came into breezehome and the sword from the sheild display was half way into the floor upstairs. I also had a weapon just disappear on the top one of the three right next to the manniquin downstairs. I just reloaded the game and got my weapon back that way. I don't trust that display rack though because it happened more than once. It is a really awesome mod though and I use it all the time. it is so nice having an enchanter on the bottom of the hill in whiterun.

@stewy Hmmm. The mannequins have been an issue since the start. Some people have issues, some don't, That is making it hard for me to fix. The weapon racks havn't been much of an issue before. You could try this version of the mod I made for people that didn't like the mannequins. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=73294054 It is the same except the manniquens are removed and there is extra book shelves and a weapon display rack. The weapons racks there havn't had any issues.

I am currently working on making an update to this mod but progress is a bit slow as I have other projects going on at the moment also. Anyway I will see what I can do and try to get it fixed.

it seems to be all of them and the not "special" weapon type. like, I accidentally put a sword i enchanted myself on one of the plaques off and i couldnt get it down (the "press --- to get weapon" prompt never shows). but all of the special weapons i put up (Red Eagle's Bane, Dragonbane) i can take back down.

p.s. on a side note, the mannequins sometimes glitch so that they either show up on the floor above or even dissapear (the option to interact with the manequins is always there, i never lose the armor that i put on them, and they never obstruct anything i use so im okay with this. they also seem to glitch out independently)

@hike4miles Glad it helped! You should be able to turn on any mod that doesn't affect Breezehome. My mod affects the entire interior of Breezehome because it also contains lighting and plaque upgrades throughout the house.

Well I finally found what new mode must have caused the glitch. The steam search never found any problems but I kept removing items until your mode finally reapeared. I have five of them off right now so I can't say for sure exactly Which one it was but I got my stuff back. Thanks for your concern and quick responce. I love the mod. Your addition is so awesome!!

@hike4miles Did you load any additional mods after loading this mod? Sometimes mods conflict and prevent them from loading. Also check your load order of your mods. Make sure this one is at the top and try to load it again. there is no reason I know that the basement wouldn't load for you other than what I mentioned. Please let me know if this works out for you.

I Have a major Problem!! the basement doesn't load anymoe, and I had alot of my favorite items stored down there. I checked to see if it was still active and it is. it just doesn't load it though.

Anyone having trouble with the mannequins or wanting them removed should download that version. It is basically the same mod but I took out the manniquens for other types of storage. Be sure to remove all items from the basement and step outside of Breezehome before saving. Then uninstall this version if you plan to install the other.

Hope that improves your mod experience. (I am working on a fix for the mannequins but I am not an expert with them.) =(

Thanks. Actually did just that. The two racks I didn't put new things on won't work now, but the one I replaced will. So I know how to fix it at least.

@samo You might have to revert back to an old save. Another option would be to remove everything from the basement you want to keep. Save the game. Close the game completely. Restart the game and load your game without the mod loaded. Save the game that way you have Breezehome saved as it was in the vanilla version. Then close the game and reload the mods and load the game back up again. Be sure that when you do this that you exit Breezehome for the saves and loads.

Also it is a good idea that anytime you load a mod that changes an area that you are not there. that way the area has time to load.

If you look at the back wall facing the manequinns it was the three on the right. I put silver swords, not sure if it makes a difference, on them. I unloaded and reloaded the mod. The swords were still on the wall and I can't take them off, but the plaques work again and I can "replace" the silver words. I could immediately pul the sword back off. I don't know yet if when I go back to the house if the new swrod will be removable or not. I'll let you know. Sorry if this is TMI. I don't know what is helpful and what is not. I haven't made a mod myself.
Still a great mod. Breezehome is my favorite due to the location, but never had enough space for trophies and stuff. And as I mentioned, I like the fact that it is not over done like a few others I have seen. If you make others I would gladly add them to my game.

Let me know what weapons you are having issues with. Before release, I was having issues with a few myself. I thought I had fixed them all but I didn't try some of the rare or unique items.

One more thing, only issue I had is some weapons I put on the weapon rack will not come off. I'm going to unload and reload it to see if irt fixes it. Otherwise like I said, great mod. I like it.

Great Mod. I like the fact that it's seems appropriate for the house. Some mods have a palace inside that seems over done. It maintains the sense of believability. Yes believability may seem funny in a game with dragons in it....

@melanie49 idk that sounds like it might be an issue with your game rather then the mod. Does it do it with the mod off?

Looks nice, I like having small simple houses where everything is easily accessible. This is a nice addition. I would like to see a small smithing area, that would be great.

Demorus....The beautiful powder blue like the UN caps....are on the manequin armour and is like a shell of the armour, no details. Taking the armour OFF the manequins sort it out, but I am surprised that the chopping block at Riften markets is also blue and of course i can't shove that up my jersey and then return it! It is a brilliant shade of blue!

I like it, but it seems a little sparse. My biggest suggestion is the wardrobe along the wall opposite of the staircase. I recommend that this be converted into a secret room with more display cases, weapon+shield racks and a few more book cases.

After I release the 2nd version of this basement that removes the mannequins I will go back to the original (the version on this page) and try to work out the issues some of you are having with the mannequins. I have a few things I can try that vet modders suggested so I should have it worked out by the end of the month. Pretty busy right now or I would have it done sooner. Sorry.

@melanie49 Turning blue? Hmm havn't heard that one yet. I did have an issue that I had to reset the brightness for the game to get the lighting to reset in the basement but never turn colors.

@Mr.Questionmarks I havn't had anyone report dup issues with them either. I'm not very experienced with the creation kit yet but from what I know there are a few issues with mannequins that have been "fixed". Not properly though. Kind of like putting a cork in hole in your boat. I have a version I am close to releasing that removes the mannequins and replaces them with weapon display cases and bookshelves that are working fine.

alright now that i have experienced the moving mannequinns its kind of annoying but also there is a glitch that if you remove your gear from them then leave when you come back there is a copy of the tiems that were removed. I ust went from having 1 set of dragon bone armor to 3 >_<

It was horribly spooky when the manequins moved, a bit of Dr Who and the "Blink" episode i thought. That was bad enough but whats with the things turning an amazing shade of blue???
