if Goths use central European then what is Slavic and Magyar architecture? There is north european architecture for Vikings and Teutons, and for Goths aswell, I think.

There is no Northern European architecture in the game. The architecture that the Goths use is the Central European set.

For those who want to use it with IA, you can. For instance, if you want this architecture only for the Goths, you can install individual architectures for the other civs in the North European set, and then remove them. This way, the civs for which you installed and removed individual architectures will retain vanilla North European, while the others will keep this new one.

(Some people want to give Vikings or Huns a different architecture, so it would be best to have three separate mods for Independent architecture:
1. For Teutons and Goths
2. For Huns
3. For Vikings)

Yes support for the Independent architecture mod would be nice. I like these black roofs much better than the original red roofs and this is the best mod of julianbaba.

It's a brilliant mod that I'd like to see compatible with Independent architecture.

it'd be awesome if you could make a version for the Independent Architecture mod. That way you could use this without changing the rest of the Northern European Set.

Great mod. I for one love the huge walls. Fit really well and look like walls should look like. Would work even better if the buildings also were made bigger, similar to the Architecture Renovation mod

@julianbaba4 Today the Rajas expansion has been released, and it's the same problem again: those ugly red roofs. Thank you a lot for fixing the Central European architecture, I never liked to look at the red roofs in my main base. It's a pity that they chose this color for the new Southeast Asian set, too. Maybe you could fix it and turn the roofs into a similar color like you gave to the Goths?

The Castle Age (and therefore Imperial Age too) Barrack has player color in the swords, esp. noticeable with green color. Can you fix that?

@Joaquín Guzmán: we all want that, but atm not possible with multiplayer compatibility, sadly. Maybe someday, but atm we're waiting for the next patch that hopefully fixes many of the more pressing bugs.

Doesn't seem to be working, and neither is that mod with just a gothic castle you made I'm afraid.
Which is odd considering all your other architecture mods are working as intended.

Goths share their architecture with teutons, huns & vikings, so if I replace one, I replace all of them. The Indians are an exception coz the devs made a seperate arab set for them so that you could change their architecture without effecting other arab civs in the game.

Every time I download this, only a few building are changed. I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing and verifying the game.

the smaller long boats were able to travel over land and go up river while the other peoples boats could not, because the ship would hit bed rock

if you make the ships like the towers so they could hold men and boost their attack vary realistic! of course the transport ships would carry more. also the berserker’s were 4 X stronger than the other people’s worriers, goths britions etc because they did alot of attack and run so their experience in battle was the best. so for every man they kill they go up one attack point and of course there is a cap. the reason why other European countries had castles and big slow boats, all for protection. the Vikings had hill forts not castles, the viking temple or church known as a hof looks just like their wonder and the vikings didnt put crosses on any of their buildings or men. so making the church building the wonder would be perfect and their wonder was stone hinge, huge boulders that formed a circle. the vikings and the native european people are one in the same. christianity was new to europe. and no gunpowder units. long boats had ors

You didn't mention in the description whether the mod is multiplayer compatible. So, it it or not? I rather don't want to join a multiplayer game and leave it after ten seconds, just to test the mod. The other players wouldn't like that.

Wow, this is quite cool. I am from Germany, but I never enjoyed playing the civ from my country, the Teutons, because the red roofs looked strange. Now, almost 20 years after the game has come out, I will finally be playing Teutons.

I have thid enabled, but it only affects the TC for some reason. I disable the shadow fix mod, and its still doing that.

Boris - Click on the mod ingame and go to Open Directory in the top right corner.
Click through the folders and into the graphics folder.
Then delete the files: 2110 and 2403.
Restart the game and the original walls will be restored :)

Hi, did make some weird update or something? Because that wonderfuly designed Gothic "fortress" of yours isn't in the gfame anymore? Just the "western castle" looking one ( even if I play as Goths/Teutons/Vikings )... or is there a problem somewhere else?

The overlapping flags happens normally in the game, I can't change it. And the gates looking wierd when close to each other doesn't bother me :P

But yeah thanks I'm glad you enjoy this mod :3

I love this; I added it.

The only bug/mistake are those flags on those gates. They overlap even other buildings, which are in front of thme, and when you've got 2 or 3 gates nearby each other it just looks's wird.... other than that, I absolutely dig this
