i think it should be where armery here is not silent and repair deployed or weapon deployed should not be silent,there for, building supplies should be the only thing silent

][ncluded herein is a list of (what I believe are) the Armory voiceovers for various responses.
The two items with an asterisk (*) are what I included in this pack.
To silence further responses, COPY one of the .wavs in my Quieter Armory "mod" and rename it according to the response you wish to silence, then put it in your \addon folder. Refer to my _ReadMe file if you aren't sure where your \addon folder is.

*avslfv0.wav = Armory here
avslfvp.wav = ready to build
*avslfvf.wav = building supplies
avslfv2.wav = repair deployed
avslfvn.wav = ammo deployed
avslfv3.wav = weapon deployed
avslfv4.wav = camera deployed
avslfvk.wav = bomb deployed

That's not a hovering crystal, it's an early Dropoff nav marker.

hocrys is a crystal. :)

There are several .zfs files. Alot of the .wav files are in bzone.zfs. I just scanned through them but did not find that one. pissed.wav is pretty funny, it sounds like a Jack Nicholson impression. Another gem I found a long time ago by curiosity was a model of a hovering crystal. When I placed it on a test map it appeared to glow yellow. I couldn't find it today in my 1.4 version bzone.zfs file, it might have been on my [ruined and gone] 1.3 version, or on the 1.0 version cd I got a burned copy of. But now, it's time for lunch!

Mm yeah I remember looking around the .zfs files. There's a few funny hidden gems in there, like the "Will Stahl is the greatest designer known to man!" .wav file hehe. At least I think that was the name, I know it was something Stahl?

Thanks alot. It just comes from years of exploring the files after you UNZFS them. Mostly only modders bother with that. Also, if you get tired of hearing him say, "Ready To Build", copy one of those silent .wavs and rename it avslfvp.wav.

nah it needs some kind of code that makes it less frequent or cancels queued sounds that are the same like when you hop out and shoot the pulse rifle and it keeps saying ammo depleted

Well these are merely small sound bytes of silence, they'd work in BZ II as well, but you'd have a job of researching all the .odf files to see what the voice-overs are named, copy and rename one of these endlessly until you were done, and toss them in your Battlezone II\addon folder. Ought to work just like that!
