Now you're thinking with(out) portals.

Please make the next "chapter".

Please, can you explain me how can i make a Portal 2 map without the portal gun?
StraightFlame 2 Jun, 2014 @ 4:55am
I like how each one is done in one of the three "styles". #1 is done like regular Aperture, #2 is done like old Aperture, and #3 is done like Wheatley's bottomless-pit-riddled Aperture.

Well done no-portal concept and nice visuals. A bit too much on the ninja bunny-hops, but good puzzles in general.

These are great. The timing can be frustrating sometimes, but nevertheless the puzzles give you the aha moment, and the visual effects are well-done too. You definitely have a unique style that could be used on more maps.

Hey Loo-Kin. I thought you would like to know that I have uploaded a video on youtube of my playthrough of this map pack in order to promote some Community Maps on Portal 2. Here is a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HRBnO7kOFU

If anyone would like me to Review / Play your maps and make a video about it, PM me and I'll get to it as soon as I can. Thanks.

12/10 - Especially liked number 2. Number 3 had me shouting at the PC (I think you know which part). You, Sir, deserve a cookie.

I just started a conversation on steam you might be interested in. I'm asking hammer map designers if they would like to try making a map with the Animal King. Will you comment? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/discussion/882949475732040662/?appid=620&tscn=1337543784

40oz To Freedom, unless it's with Hammer like this map is, almost every type of puzzle has been created thus far in about two weeks. It just comes down to design quality and how integrated the parts of the puzzle are into each other (there aren't 50 rooms with different objectives - there is one room with one objective and an integrated way to complete it). I'll check out yours as well, look at my workshop please

is it just me or is it weird i released a small collection of maps with the ingame editor that dont require the portal gun and then you release the same idea... well lots of people share the same idea so keep this up! im planning on trying yours out. if you want you can check mine out
Tobitake 18 May, 2012 @ 1:32pm
It's a good idea, keep working !

I agree with what DR4KON said. These feel a lot like the actual "tests" that aperture would probably have conducted. I love these.
MadBeatsMike 17 May, 2012 @ 10:02pm
I feel that this is more in the spirit of Aperture than many of the new complex puzzles are - your initiative in each section is clear, and the course of the map is fun, not annoying. In addition, a lot is done with very few puzzle elements (there are not a hundred elements that need to be worked out in precise and seemingly impossible order). Thus, very well done

Overall a very nice job. You should make more of these. Could you look at my maps? I'm still trying to make sure they work like they're supposed to.
