Report a translation problem
On the Launcher bottom right click Mods.
Select the mod and launch. You will then see the slider in game.
Many missions 0.9 makes things a lot easier.
REMINDER: unlike the players patch slider, in this mod the option is only available once your in the mission. It will stay at that setting for all missoins started after the difficulty is adjusted.
Go to settings AFTER you start the mission. Adjust slider, exit the mission, restart mission.

Campaign button is just... gone.
However, the mod alone is fully functional at this time without any known errors and you can use it now like it is.
Linking the difficulty value with config file in mod is probably stupid easy and you find better/pro way, especially if you plan to add more described options to the menu, which is definitely a great idea. FYI in main options menu is TDS slider original bug but you probably know it.
If I can help or explain something in mod (outside the UI, where is better ask Dwarfinator), let me know here or at the GBX Forum.

2.3 Players Patch ?
Besides balance and bug fixes, I'd like to add a few basic gameplay options to the game:
* A 'Vast' unit cap option that's double the 'Huge' limit.
* Camera Pan Speed scalar
* Camera Max Zoom scalar
* Campaign Difficulty scalar
Try it and tell me where you are stuck or have a problem. And mod work with 2.1 vanila game and also with beta 2.205.
To salvaging, try diferent ways, dont give up. I try it quick today and is working as always. Yes, sometimes it can be difficult and frustrating. Try bait/decoy and run away method with one salvagevett instead for interceptors, and while enemy ship focus to it on escaping/run away, use others salvagevetts.
