I don't really have much installed aside from the reduced textures and weather mods. For those interested, it still functions to this day.
Eminatorlol 17 Dec, 2024 @ 3:50pm
still working???
HEİSENBERG 25 Oct, 2023 @ 2:23am
Is The Mod Still Up To Date And Does It Have Any Problems Like Crashing :steamthis:
ElTryt 2 Feb, 2023 @ 5:46pm

Cattrina 28 Sep, 2022 @ 9:15am
Thanks for the shout out! <3

This mod causes a massive drop framerate. DO NO INSTALL IT if you have more furniture mods.
Cavanoskus 17 May, 2022 @ 7:09am
Thank you!
Shidan  [author] 15 May, 2022 @ 4:34am
For the most part it should be, yes. Could be a few built objects you'd need to remove afterward, since there are a couple odd bugs with the base items like objects needing hundreds of building materials to repair them, or nonsense things using power. Without the mod, those objects would bug again and need removed.
Cavanoskus 14 May, 2022 @ 11:54pm
Is it safe to just unsubscribe from this and then subscribe to Forgotten Buildings? I honestly can't remember if anything I have built comes from this mod.
MGJ Sakazaki 31 Mar, 2022 @ 3:28pm
DUDE! DUDE! After unsubscribing this mod I fxcking played a whole day Kenshi and my game DIDN'T FXCKING CRASH A SINGLE TIME! My game is loading faster, is saving faster, is everything Kenshi should be! I wanna punch my own face for ever subscribing to this mod! But such is innocence. I can't believe I found this out after 1000 hours playing Kenshi. Living and improving, such is life itself. :beeped::cactusrum:
MGJ Sakazaki 31 Mar, 2022 @ 11:49am
MAN! This mod is good, it does add a lot of stuff... still, you don't fxck know how much I'm happy to unsubscribe to this mod!!! My overall game performance in Kenshi increased, my crashed diminished! I'm so dumb for not trying to unsubscribe this earlier. T-T
Still, I can't deny that this mod has a lot of stuff to add and it is pretty good. =)
Banard 11 Mar, 2022 @ 3:52pm
I went back to a old game from a year ago...i had this mod unsubscribed. My Engineer kept rotating to all items added from this mod to "repair them". I had to dismantle every item and unsubscribe/subscribe this multiple times. Also...why do table have power consumption?
Huerta 28 Feb, 2022 @ 1:44pm
Also came here to comment some signs costs 300 materials.
iBeToxin 22 Feb, 2022 @ 2:24am
Currently the banners cost 300 building material to craft and cannot be clicked on. Please make them instant build like you did with the signs.

Just started using this mod to beautify my Roman style Castra with markets and a forum and such, really excellent use of the various game assets.

One question though; The Fancy Rug requires a Fancy Rug to build. Is that crafted or a oversight on your part?

Wonderful mod, going to look forward to tinkering with the place and make it look lived in.
The Knight who says N'wah 16 Jan, 2022 @ 4:47am
do i need an import for this?
K13 19 Dec, 2021 @ 8:29pm
Would you consider adding Metal Wallhouse and Outpost s-I, s-II and s-V?
AngryMantis 24 May, 2021 @ 9:09am
Just want to say thanks for including a Nexus link!
Shidan  [author] 23 Apr, 2021 @ 7:39am
Nothing new, just the stuff mentioned in the comments below.
Shir Blackwater 23 Apr, 2021 @ 7:26am
What is the new stuff that was added?
nolez15 22 Apr, 2021 @ 4:31pm
Thanks for the response! Appreciate you looking into it, and this fix works well enough for me.
Shidan  [author] 21 Apr, 2021 @ 6:49pm
Hmm, I don't see a way to fix it. The issue seems to be because of some system the devs added to the sign flag in the code, unfortunately without that flag they simply aren't placeable and don't work at all. Not sure when it was added, as it didn't used to be the case.

For now I will remove all resources from the signs, which will allow them to be built without the characters interacting with them. Though the user cannot select them to remove them normally, so I'll add a note in-game you have to use the Shift+F12 menu to remove them.
Shidan  [author] 21 Apr, 2021 @ 6:04pm
I can look into it in a little bit. I wasn't aware it was an issue.
nolez15 21 Apr, 2021 @ 4:12pm
It doesn't look like characters are actually able to build any of the signs. I've tested this on all bar signs, and the game acts like the blueprint isn't even there. Is there a fix or maybe a planned fix for this?
Shidan  [author] 9 Jan, 2021 @ 8:03pm
Unfortunately it can't be done. Would need someone who knows how to make custom collision files to volunteer their time to make a variant that would allow it. I just enable the vanilla one, which doesn't allow snapping.
Gaz 9 Jan, 2021 @ 7:09pm
Nice mod, I have an issue tho, I cant mount crossbows to the gun plank the snap point is not working, any advice?
(wired) wizard97 —羽月 4 Jan, 2021 @ 6:29pm
its still a good mod man nice job
Shidan  [author] 4 Jan, 2021 @ 6:19pm
I can't get the idle sitting to work even in vanilla, so it either must be broken there, or has some very specific conditions.
(wired) wizard97 —羽月 4 Jan, 2021 @ 4:29pm
well now that you mentioned it im using SCAR's pathfinding fix maybe it causes the problem
Shidan  [author] 4 Jan, 2021 @ 4:00pm
Fixed direction or the vanilla ones? Perhaps the system can only work with vanilla ones? I've honestly never used it myself, so I have no clue how it's supposed to work.

I'll run some tests later and see if I can reproduce the issue.
(wired) wizard97 —羽月 4 Jan, 2021 @ 3:50pm
yes it is enabled. i am using multiple different chairs such as sitting boxes, pillows on ground etc
Shidan  [author] 4 Jan, 2021 @ 3:44pm
And you have the feature toggled on in the AI control panel? And what seating are you trying to use?
(wired) wizard97 —羽月 4 Jan, 2021 @ 3:42pm
npcs dont sit around when idle at home for me. is it a bug or not featured for this mod?
Shidan  [author] 28 Nov, 2020 @ 7:04pm
No, it does not. Not sure why I never added them honestly. Though I am at a loss for what the building material would be, given what they are supposed to be made out of...

The blueprint list in discussions should give you an idea of what is available in the mod and not.
EXP9182 28 Nov, 2020 @ 6:59pm
Does the mod add hive buildings?
Shidan  [author] 25 Oct, 2020 @ 9:47am
They should be there in the buildings, have been every time I test them. Sometimes in some small barrel or basket or something, but always there.

If you'd rather research them directly, the submod linked in the description has that option.
Reigdaer 25 Oct, 2020 @ 9:29am
same here, no matter how far i research im not getting the blueprints to build them :S
DeToXa 25 Jul, 2020 @ 2:53pm
Tried to get the western throne aswell searched all the containers and still no blueprint ( mod is for sure working bc i got most of the blueprints) So i dont know what to do with the 2 throne blueprints
DeToXa 25 Jul, 2020 @ 12:50pm
First thank you for the mod its great. I wanted to get the Throne blueprint so i sneaked into the holy nations hq in blisterhill looted all the containers locked/unlocked even weapon/etc ones didnt found it, i can get it from somewhere else?
JimJohnson 21 Jul, 2020 @ 9:39am
oh, sorry for that
Shidan  [author] 21 Jul, 2020 @ 9:15am
They're in there. You just have to acquire the recipe first. ;)

Blueprints and locations are in the discussion tab if you're interested.
JimJohnson 21 Jul, 2020 @ 9:04am
If you could add rotatable fancy rugs that would be a dream come true.
theDehumanized 11 Jul, 2020 @ 10:19am
Ah, sorry for that. I had meant building category. I hope vanilla ones and the mod's wont mix badly.
Shidan  [author] 11 Jul, 2020 @ 10:05am
Unclear what you mean. If you mean a building category, no I just kept them in the vanilla ones they were already in.
theDehumanized 11 Jul, 2020 @ 10:01am
Does mod have its own section?
Shidan  [author] 11 Jul, 2020 @ 9:39am
A lot of furniture has since been added to vanilla, though far from all of it.
J-K-P 11 Jul, 2020 @ 9:30am
Ahhh, so in vanilla game I can´t build furniture? What the fuck...
Zero (ゼロ) 1 Jul, 2020 @ 11:20am
Ah, I haven't done enough poking around in their homes I guess being allied to the UC and all. Alright.
Shidan  [author] 1 Jul, 2020 @ 10:15am
In the base mod, you have to find the blueprint in the world in the noble houses .

Alternatively, the submod linked in the description enables research of all the items it adds.
Zero (ゼロ) 1 Jul, 2020 @ 8:37am
Someone said this mod had the fancy rug found in noble houses in the UC, but I haven't found it.
