Make sure all paths are correct, try to use hud_reloadscheme and/or mat_reloadall... (reloads all .vmts I belive) (try it in singleplayer as it needs sv_cheats)

Hey Lino, I hope you dont mind me asking for some help on my mod for the compass, but I have a very funny issue. I edited the compass vtf file and when im in game it works fine while its in my custom folder. But when I pack it into a VPK the material stops working in game. And thank you for these hud.res mods :) They've helped me so much getting to understand modding that part of the game!

Just type hud_reloadscheme into console to refresh the hud and activate it.

No, the values are 'hardcoded' in the workshopfiles. You could edit those to change it.

is there a command to move the compass to the default location?
