Thank you for the enjoyable map.
Thanks for this one too :)
For the rest, I'm glad to know that the Maze Lord (or maybe his buff00n :p) appreciate this one ^^
@all maze fans : You will love buff00n's workshop ;)
If anyone else likes mazes then I have a series of them .
Had some trouble, to get the Franken into it's destination, but that's the pain with the Frankens anyway, eh?
CU at another one of my maps. :)
Did you try my map Nr4 with the updates? Would like to know what you think about it.
And I had never heard about portal bumbing before, wow that is SO exploitable (fun!). I didn't use it to solve this puzzle but it would have helped a lot.
Hints, in order of how desperate you are:
1. Make sure you view the dotted lines through the glass
2. Solve the sphere and reflector cube first.
3. Cubes can pass through laser fields.
And it's interesting that you can turn it any angle, not only 90, 180 ...
A big thank to you guy =D I will probably be able to make works some weird mechanism I imagined but was not working because I wasn't able to rotate them :p
Will add your map again to the list ^^
right click on franken cube > change type to reflecting cube > rotate any angle you want > change type back to Franken.
BTW could you check my "Descending" map again - made a lot of changes today :)
I hope the franken cube thing will not be a problem... I found this method to force player placing each cube/ball in the expected receptor ^^
And sadly you can't orient the direction of Franken Cubes in the editor -_-
About the Franken Cube - first i tried to make it walk at the wall button :), but laser field (which cubes can pass through) and square button over the funnel were enough hints to find the solution.
I don't know if it's possible, but you could turn the franken cube 90 deg so it would go along the corridor (in which it already is). Players that don't know the trick of walking cube would get a hint seeing it walk.
& I remembered franken cubes will walk in the direction they are facing,
which was very helpfull, when we swaped places.
I got to the exit with out trying. (early on, but was closed)
when finished every thing else, could not remember how to return to exit.
traveled in circles, every where exept ground, for ages.
then realised. if I got there early, what level I would probably have been on.
I am very confident, without a shadow of a doubt, that if I play again,
I will still get lost.
all elements logical & easy.
if testers don't know the trick with the franken cube,
they could stack the weighted cube & reflector cube,
then throw the franken cube through the lasser field,
glass maze very hard.
well done.
@tedwilliams4808 : Glad you liked it, will try your when I have a moment ;)
If you got time to visit back my workshop, have a shot at one of my triple-T troubled brothers: "Tenacity, "Twisted", and "Trickster".
cheers
And I thought my map "Asylum" could be confusing! lol
Thumb up
