Eros is the name of the god of love

nice map but the greek text is garbage. Especially "καταστημ", it's missing an α at the end. Ιδιώτης does mean private but not private property, it literally means "private man" or somebody who's self employed. Also what is an "ελάφι αγορά" (deer store)?

People saying its "just Greece, it has nothing to do with Overwatch" either havent played overwatch or havent played the map. Its layout and specific buldings are pretty god damn similar to Ilios. I think genuinely no person thinks Overwatch invented Hellenic style white buildings. The map just is almost definitely Ilios.

i remember looking at this map when it first came out saying that just because it's in greece doesn't make it an ilios ripoff
but then after playing countless rounds on ilios
this IS a carbon copy of ilios


AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT

love how tf2, overwatch and csgo all have maps set in this theme

I played this yesterday on Surny's server. It was fun.
The only nitpicks I have is that it's a bit bright in some places (admittedly, Santorini is a bright place). The colours look washed out (maybe make the blue on BLU side a bit more vibrant if possible), and the skybox could be more interesting.

To those of you who think this is Ilios, Ilios was modeled after Greek Buildings. This is also inspired by that. If you want to yell at someone for being unoriginal, go yell at Rome, not this.

As a greek person, this is an amazing map. Thank you for making this! :D

Any updates on fixing client crashes? Had almost everyone on my server drop immediately after switching to this map with timeouts.

I vacation in good ol Hellas and this is certianly what the Islands look like. Beautiful map 10/10

I'm going to stop arguing now because I'd really rather play the map and enjoy it myself than spend time coming up with comebacks to a person who really has no spympathy. You can think what you want, but I and plenty of other people know that this is great map, and if people like you are not going to look beyond Overwatch to see what actually a great map this is, I really can't care less anymore. Just think about how you are not being very kind to a person who at least tried to make something cool (and succeeded).

Also the map has 5 stars so it's obvious more people like this map than people who think this is a "cheap and failed Overwatch ripoff"

Anyways it's taken 3 men a total of 1 and a half years to release around 4 maps and 3 content packs which isn't bad

saying Eros is Illios is about as accurate as saying Lijiang Tower is Kong King
