"An error occured while downloading this map!"
Mevious and Zogor experienced this before. The problem relates to some maps released in 2012. Reuploading fixed the issue.

This map is and remain unplayable until you republish it. <toz> is right - Mevious has done it with his maps and it works.

Hm, it might be related to the fact that my steam community access is pretty damn broken right now. It won't load at all on the steam client. Maybe it's just a server issue?

Either way, if it's permanent, I'm sure other comments would let me know xD

And, thanks for telling me!

But hey, I think we should wait and see if anyone else will get that error first.

Well, that happened with some of Mevious's maps recently and he said that he was gonna republish them, because it had happened before to some other maps of his. Maybe you could do the same, I don't know. But if you can't, don't worry, I'll be fine haha ;)

I don't know what I can do about that D:

7/10 difficulty. I usually don't find maps that I find that difficult, but this was a pretty damn good logic puzzle. Took me a good 20 minutes and that is unusual for this size map.

What's funny is I got the first cube to the top and got the second cube and my train of thought changed. I knew what I had to do, which was what I had already basically done, but I got a complete brain-fart. After I went back through in my mind how I did the first one then it was gravy, but still a tricky puzzle. People talk about Mevious (The Devious... lol) and it's true, this was tougher than some of his. His hard ones though are definitely 10/10 on difficulty and impossible for the casual player. Some I'm sure would find this impossible as well.

Anyway, well done!

Agree with the statement that this is Mevious quality. Nice job!

After reading the Aug 2012 issue of PC Gamer, I bought Portal 2 just to play the PTI and started off with yassermalaika, CaretCaret & Mevious which were the three level-makers listed in that issue as being the best.

After seeing how many other creators there were, I wrote a script to download and parse all level data into a spreadsheet so I could easily find 5-star level makers by name or puzzle and play all their puzzles one user at a time.

Hands down, no question, this is a Mevious-quality level and the people who rate this thumbs-down dont get the point of Portal 2 or the purpose of Valve creating PTI for that matter.

Actually, I just made stuff up as I went along.... I looked back at what I'd made and found that the intended solution was impossible... A much more difficult solution was left in its place.

Great puzzle. It took about 30 minutes foe me to solve it. I think you spent a lot of time composing this puzzle. A lot of logical and very intricate thoughts were put in this, i think :)

Give yourself more credit; there's a lot of ingenuity on display here and the gating with the lasers is some of the best I've yet played; I was never lost or confused as one tends to be in poorly designed maps.

Very good map. It's a challenge that did not rely on hair trigger timing tricks or other gimmicks, but rather it required "portal like" logical thinking.

Ah, well, all of my maps have started off from 3 stars (when they hit 10 votes), and then raised up to 4 or 5 as they get more popular. Seeing as how my first 10 votes are more likely to be thumbs up as they'll probably be followers or friends, I don't think that they work that simply. It's more likely that it's the difference between the total thumbs up and thumbs down imo. But, I don't really know...
Kibate 26 May, 2012 @ 10:45am
I don't see the actual thumbs down, but all the thumbs up and down determine how many stars you get. Right now it has 4 stars from 5, and 39 votes. Thus after a little math we get ~31thumbs up and 8 thumbs down.
January 2035  [author] 26 May, 2012 @ 10:05am
How do you see the thumbs down? :l
Kibate 26 May, 2012 @ 10:03am
I don't see why this has so many thumbs downs, i luved it! This is pretty much what i expect of all portal maps. Good use of the tools and the portals, a nice clean map and great need of logic and experience. Good job.

Awesome! That was fun!
