Still not gone, but I've recently finished a major update of ALL of my QoLs, meaning I can now focus full gear on this. I... Hope I don't take too much longer.

so glad to see you are still working on A version of this mod because it is by far my fav addon ever mad for this game even beating out the some of the dlc ( orcs still wins but only barely).

Still here, still working on it-- Have no doubts! There is an unbelievable amount of stuff I still need to do for it. I have even strongly considered breaking it up into individual "avatar updates" for the sake of getting it done faster.
... Ah... I can't wait to show everyone the 50-page-long change log I stopped updating about 2 years ago lol

A notice to all that use this mod: I am planning on creating a new mod entirely so that those with save files using this one will not find their save files ruined.

That means that I am, officially, as of this moment, declaring there will be NO MORE SUPPORT FOR *THIS* VERSION of OoTS, in particular. I will be making A NEW VERSION OF OoTS some time later.

Use this version with discretion. I will try to mark this one as deprecated as much as possible so that there won't be any mistakes in the future.

PS: Sorry for taking so long. Being human sure can be a pain... xP

PPS: I believe "Kamani" has created a new, fixed version of the old OoTS anyways! Just use that one! ... And yes, they got my blessing to do so, so don't hesitate!

A quick update: Things are still going smoothly on my part. I haven't slowed down a bit, though I may have been derailed a few times when considering new features to add.

I *have* wondered at times, though, if people don't mind the silence. I'm not a fan of timely updates since they slow me down more than anything, but I can understand if people don't trust the silence either. Admittedly, I've felt that way a few times about things I was waiting for as well.

I want to give everyone something to look forward to, but it's all very "Soon(TM)", and I know better than to hype people up for something that doesn't quite have a timeline.

Just some of my thoughts, and to let you all know I'm still with you. Anyways, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and cheers!

As a quick update, things are still really busy for me and I'm working slowly but surely on it. I can't really release any of this piecemeal due to how I wrote it, so the silence is mostly my fault. I can't even give a sample out. But yes, this IS the place to reach me if you have any questions. As for the forum post... I can still find it on the forum, but the link seems to be dead. Maybe it'll fix itself soon...?? :/
For anyone looking for it, it's a post in the "Addons" forum called "[Odyssey of The Summoner] ... Something stirs...", just in case you're determined and a link won't suffice anymore.

For anyone confused about Nek's post below - originally, the link led to a forum post describing where he'd been for the last 6 years, and what his plans were for Odyssey of the Summoner.

Given he (or the tome mods) have deleted that thread... I suppose we can assume that something's happened which means this mod will remain dead.

Just thought #I would mention there is forked (maintenance only) version for 1.7.4+ also available on the workshop -> Odyssey of The Summoner (for ToME 1.7.4+)

It is a great mod, I had so much fun with it back in time! I sincerely hope it would be updated for newer version someday, even though it is 4 years since the last version of this beatiful class addon.

This mod still seems to work with 1.5.10 version of the game, which you can access by going to betas tab in properties.. Keep in mind I mostly play Hydra so I can't really speak for the other classes, but when I tried using this mod with the current version I got endless error message spam.. When I switched to 1.5.10 everything seemed to be working as before, and with no errors... So might be worth a try if you really like this mod.

To be specific, Adventuring Party's ally tooltips. Mentions not having the appropriate info for the tooltip, stops happening when this is disabled.

Bug Report for War Hound: I got a temporal anomaly as War Hound with Temporal Hounds (summoning the special rare), with Raals currently out (because I had their gem and had been put to sleep), but all that happened was an error message, and no dialogue.

1. Fire Drake is a very special class, in that the wordiness is not quite by "design", but moreso by "necessity" (I wanted you to feel like you were surrounded by bratty, quirky kids-- not meatshields or pets). Since the other classes are far more lonely, their dialogue isn't nearly as massive-- But War Hound definitely competes-- And in the future, so will Hydra.

2. A good start would probably be saving Eyal!

My thanks to you for this mod, Nekarcos - it's inarguably the best one I've seen for ToME. I have but two questions for you:

1.) Do you plan to add the kind of extensive class-specific bonus dialogue that the Fire Drake has to the other classes?
2.) Could you give me a hint on how to become a 'Legend' and unlock that one pesky prodigy?

Found a weird little bug with the mod. Apparently, it conflicts with TW by preventing you from switching the melee skills (blade threading or whatever it was)

Bow part works fine in off-set and main set. But the melee switch just wasn't available. At least for me. Dunno if that's happened to anyone else.
