Wanted to drop a quick comment for anyone who still finds themselves here. I'm currently maintaining the latest version of this mod for 1.4 and the current DLC.

I added support for a couple other buildings, most notably autodoors and solar panels.

Sadly this alternative is a way too op. It makes it possible to minify even mech stuff that isn't supposed to.
This mod was perfectly logical ):
If I knew how to mod I would. Sadly i have no idea how to even access the source code, let alone make modifications.

I hate to say it. but dev mode god mode is always an option.
Copy the item were you want and destroy the old object and its components.

these items still need this mod to be moved, could we shrink the mod just to affect these ones? i hate not being able to move my coolers, pumps and comms consoles :(

Hey dude. In plain vanilla (without your mod) I can't move that wood burning power generator. I think also the HT research bench you can't move either. I'm gonna miss your mod buddy. Thanks so much for your hard work on it! :)

I don't think I will be updating the mod. It's primary purpose was to enable moving of production buildings and since v0.9 this is a vanilla game fetaure, so the mod is basically obsolete. Furthermore, I do not play RimWorld actively anymore. You are free to use and update the files as you see fit.

I'm getting an error when loading this mod with Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Production. It still works just fine, I just thought I'd let you know.

I'm getting a Runtime Exception error on one map (while the map is selected) for a accidentally minified Dub's Bad Hygene Water Valve (accidentally hit uninstall instead of shut off). Exception in next post. I'll also post the same over at Dub's...

The fact it's supposed to contain someone, just like a tomb, or it's supposed to be linked to some life maintaining things, maybe ?

Just searching reasons, i'm personnaly like One-Eye : Everything that is not screwed to the ground should come with me, and everything that is unscrewable falls in the first category. (That's the very reason why i love so much that mod)

I agree with @groovybluedog. I don't see how being able to move a casket is immersion-breaking. A tomb? Yes. The Giza Pyramids? Yes. A casket? No.

The other mods don't work on cryptosleep caskets either
How would it break immersion? I could argue a machining table, fabrication bench or smelter shouldn't be movable as a casket will be as "difficult" to move in comparison xD

For me it would break immersion, so no. But there are other mods in the workshop that would enable you to move anything, even walls.

@Three-Nuts Squirrel thanks! good to know, just got that mod and wasn't sure, haven't got the plasteel to finish building it yet, but it had issues with this mod (actually, all my mods) and had to reinstall, and was reminded of just how much stuff still can't be moved in vanilla and figured the drill wouldnt move either. glad to hear im probably wrong.

I suppose this is due to the Mountain Miner being a fork of the DeepDrill which is movable.

@Mr-Bandit, Mountain Miner is already movable, i'm using it on my current playthrough, and was able to move it litteraly accross the map to install solar pannel's powered outpost with battery and turrets.

I wasn't able to replace the following line using the patch:

And then I kind of got into other things and never figured it out.

So, the description in the top right says B19, but for some reason in game it says this mod is for B18. Not sure what's going on there. The mod is still needed as you still can't minaturise things like electricity generators (of all kinds).

So, vanilla R19 doesn't replace every functionality of this mod. My interest is especially in moveable generators and moisture pumps.

I would be happy if this mod continues to live.
