RandomTBush might think I'm being a complete asshole for uploading ''his'' models, which, TBH for a while after he started to insult me, I uploaded more of his content simply to push back, but then I realized that that wasn't the best decision, so i've stopped uploading his models and will not delete them because hundreds have already downloaded them and if i do delete them, anyone who was using them for an animation or project will have the model deleted, basically ruining the project which I don't want to do because I know how that feels when it happens being an animator and artist myself. The models are still up simply for the respect of animators, not for the ignorance of RTB as much as he and all of his friends want to believe.

@superandrews (Spanik)
I have uploaded more than just his models, and when I click ''Upload to workshop'' in SFM, it loads up the description of my last addon which I make slight edits to, I leave the link to the original workshop addon I got it from so people know who to credit, when people comment on my uploads thanking me, I've made sure to tell them to thank the original creator in most cases since people don't read the description a lot.
superandrews 31 Dec, 2016 @ 12:27am
Otherwise, if RTB still wants to accuse Sportaflop over here that's fine too.
superandrews 31 Dec, 2016 @ 12:23am
To be honest, Sportaflop DID give credit but less noticeable. (Hence "ORIGINAL ADDON: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=575196361 ") The thing is he DID credit Talking Bush but didn't give his name.

Mr Game & Watch has the 2D effect because of his white outline and non-existent shadow, if you're asking about how to make the other characters be ACTUALLY flat, I have no idea, but I can tell you the result would not be very pretty, Nintendo succeeds with this effect in the Smash Bros Flat Zone stages not by actually squishing the models, it's just an effect the stage and camera give off.
Smoggylamb 10 Dec, 2016 @ 2:45am
How do you make models "Flat Zone" flat?
WyvernWings 30 Jul, 2016 @ 8:53pm
I'm a bit late to the party.

Nintendo does own the characters and the base models, that is correct, but RTB owns the modifications he has done to them to make it work in Source. Those modifications are his work, made with his own technique and experience.
It has nothing to do with the model. It's the modifications , as far as I'm concerned. You have done absolutely nothing to said modifications. You don't own any part of them. You have not rigged, edited, ported them to Source etc etc. RTB did all of that. You weren't the one who spent hours upon hours applying these modifications. Therefore, you are stealing his part in making these models function in Source.

The fact that you admit you didn't make these rigs and yet have not directly credited RTB in the descriptions, and refusing to remove them despite him telling you to, even when the existence of these specific models are entirely thanks to him, is incredibly disrespectful.
domi 29 Jul, 2016 @ 4:47pm
Just replace the cop-out with

"Credit given to RandomTBush [with profile link] for the original addon on Garry's Mod [with workshop link]"

If you're even going to put a link and give credit, do it properly so it's clear where it goes to

And if you're asked by the original creator to take down the submission, you should before you get a community ban

@RTB
Are you done making excuses to try and make yourself look better?
Seriously you need help.

''avoid mentioning my name anywhere'' when it's in the addon and there's a link to your addon in the description, yeah, i totally avoided you there
RandomTBush 29 Jul, 2016 @ 2:09pm
"Credit goes to this addon-creator for porting this model. NOT ME".

Uh-huh. Because you're totally crediting my hard work there and not just doing a cheap cop-out to avoid mentioning my name anywhere.

Hypocrite alert
¥ 0 ¥ 0  [author] 29 Jul, 2016 @ 2:08pm
@RTB
Yeah, it means absolutely nothing to say thank you for your hard work.
And uh, did you have permission to upload Nintendo's models to the workshop?
Didn't think so
RandomTBush 29 Jul, 2016 @ 2:04pm
CREDIT MEANS NOTHING IF PERMISSION WAS SPECIFICALLY DENIED.
¥ 0 ¥ 0  [author] 29 Jul, 2016 @ 2:02pm
@RTB
Oh, well if it means nothing i guess you're credited for nothing then
RandomTBush 29 Jul, 2016 @ 1:59pm
So you're saying that all of the countless hours I spent extracting and decompressing the original files from the Wii U, researching the model formats, researching the texture formats, rigging the models, porting the models to the Source Engine, editing the textures and materials and all of the other bells and whistles meant for a proper Source engine port means absolutely nothing ? Why don't you just go and steal EVERYTHING ELSE EVER then? Because absolutely everything on the Workshop was extracted from another game, and therefore shouldn't be there, and therefore is perfectly acceptable to steal their work and upload it under your own account? Is that how it is?

I suppose your Fuse-built Ryo model is no different. After all, you're just using someone else's program to make it just like I used someone else's programming for my model ports.

@RTB
Trust me, I've read all the comments, and you still haven't answered that guy's question, what makes you any different?, what makes you teh rightful owner?, what makes you have ANY judgement over what happens to these models?

And your ''I stole it from the game first so it's mine'' trick doesn't work.
RandomTBush 29 Jul, 2016 @ 1:30pm
I have told you to take these down. Multiple times, in fact, but you deleted some of my earlier comments stating so.

@domi
The original creators never asked me to take these down

Unless you're talking about the people who stole them from the original creators and uploaded them to the steam workshop without permission, in which case, yeah, they might have said something.
domi 29 Jul, 2016 @ 1:18pm
If the original porter asks you to not reupload their work, just respect that and remove it. It makes you look worse if the original creator clearly does not enjoy his work being reuploaded in another part of the Workshop and says so, and you keep it up anyways saying it's "fair use"

This is not fair use.

This is a direct rip from Garry's Mod.
Monster Master FightingLucario 22 Jul, 2016 @ 5:27pm
Q: Who says Mr. Game & Watch can't be in SFM?
A: Idiots.
EPho3nix 20 Jul, 2016 @ 10:33pm
@LTurmoi47 But the creators of the port have told him muliple times that they dont want the models on the SFM workshop. ApocHedgie has already DMCAed one of the models (The Pacman model).
LTurmoil47 20 Jul, 2016 @ 7:03am
but if they are still under the origional makers name, its free publicity for them. And the fact in the description it says, "Credit goes to this addon-creator for porting this model. NOT ME." He already said these are not his, and the models are still under RTB's name, if anything, he is actually helping. and yes he should have asked first. i get that.
EPho3nix 20 Jul, 2016 @ 1:48am
I love how you try to hide behind far use, you may not realize it but you are stealing code. All the code for these models were written by the model porters. So basically reuploading without there permission doesnt count as ''Fair Use''.
LTurmoil47 18 Jul, 2016 @ 8:43am
No problem.

Thank you
LTurmoil47 18 Jul, 2016 @ 8:04am
they didnt read it. barely anyone reads the description now adays. and i get that you wanted to make it easier for people to get the model for the people to use. people are just pissed for multiple pointless reasons and they take it out on us. i mean, OVERWATCH characters are on SFM and they dont have a DMCA notice. Neither does the OTHER SMASH BROS. CHARACTERS ON SFM. Or what about Metal Gear? Or Halo? And let's not forget about the OTHER 1,500 MODELS THAT HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE WORKSHOP. *CALM DOWN PEOPLE. HE DID THIS FOR YOU, THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS APPRECIATE IT.*
