I have uploaded more than just his models, and when I click ''Upload to workshop'' in SFM, it loads up the description of my last addon which I make slight edits to, I leave the link to the original workshop addon I got it from so people know who to credit, when people comment on my uploads thanking me, I've made sure to tell them to thank the original creator in most cases since people don't read the description a lot.
Mr Game & Watch has the 2D effect because of his white outline and non-existent shadow, if you're asking about how to make the other characters be ACTUALLY flat, I have no idea, but I can tell you the result would not be very pretty, Nintendo succeeds with this effect in the Smash Bros Flat Zone stages not by actually squishing the models, it's just an effect the stage and camera give off.
Nintendo does own the characters and the base models, that is correct, but RTB owns the modifications he has done to them to make it work in Source. Those modifications are his work, made with his own technique and experience.
It has nothing to do with the model. It's the modifications , as far as I'm concerned. You have done absolutely nothing to said modifications. You don't own any part of them. You have not rigged, edited, ported them to Source etc etc. RTB did all of that. You weren't the one who spent hours upon hours applying these modifications. Therefore, you are stealing his part in making these models function in Source.
The fact that you admit you didn't make these rigs and yet have not directly credited RTB in the descriptions, and refusing to remove them despite him telling you to, even when the existence of these specific models are entirely thanks to him, is incredibly disrespectful.
"Credit given to RandomTBush [with profile link] for the original addon on Garry's Mod [with workshop link]"
If you're even going to put a link and give credit, do it properly so it's clear where it goes to
And if you're asked by the original creator to take down the submission, you should before you get a community ban
Are you done making excuses to try and make yourself look better?
Seriously you need help.
''avoid mentioning my name anywhere'' when it's in the addon and there's a link to your addon in the description, yeah, i totally avoided you there
Uh-huh. Because you're totally crediting my hard work there and not just doing a cheap cop-out to avoid mentioning my name anywhere.
Yeah, it means absolutely nothing to say thank you for your hard work.
And uh, did you have permission to upload Nintendo's models to the workshop?
Didn't think so
Oh, well if it means nothing i guess you're credited for nothing then
I suppose your Fuse-built Ryo model is no different. After all, you're just using someone else's program to make it just like I used someone else's programming for my model ports.
Trust me, I've read all the comments, and you still haven't answered that guy's question, what makes you any different?, what makes you teh rightful owner?, what makes you have ANY judgement over what happens to these models?
And your ''I stole it from the game first so it's mine'' trick doesn't work.

The original creators never asked me to take these down
Unless you're talking about the people who stole them from the original creators and uploaded them to the steam workshop without permission, in which case, yeah, they might have said something.
This is not fair use.
This is a direct rip from Garry's Mod.
A: Idiots.
Thank you
Um, if you read the description, you,d see i didn't steal anything
