I like the map very fun to play.
mood3rd 7 Dec, 2012 @ 3:38pm
just re-tested.
I see you added the fizzler between lower & upper chamber.
& you have 2 ways to get the cube to the upper level.
both work.
I did it the way without the polarity funel.
then seen the polarity funel & went down that way, to investigate.
if I were you, I would limit it to 1 way to get the cube.
as after retrieving the cube, the player will try the other pedestal button.
possibly believing it to be part of the test.
maybe even put another test element to retrieve the cube ?
(but carefull of the item limit.)
I enjoyed another go of this :)

Had great fun. Didn't really think I was going to finish. The puzzles had me reaching for F6 constantly. I slowly figured out what to do to get to the final chamber. That one was a cinch for some reason I don't know. Maybe got lucky. It happens. I like the layout. Very appealing. I liked the puzzles. Very thought provoking. I see no reason to make any changes. Thanks for visiting me.

@Crippy v2 LOL thanks for your comments, wish there were more people like you with that attitude :) Really sorry, but I have no idea how to fix your problem.... Your best bet would be to check the Steam forums as someone else may have gone through something similar

@mechtakendall thanks for your comments and ratings, I'll be trying one of your maps later :)

Yes... timing is everything in the last room especially. Very clever map. I felt good when I figured it out. fairly challenging. The only thing that I didnt like much was the combination of precise timing and movement you have to have at the very end. This could lead to frustration even after someone has figured out the puzzle part of it. That being said, I very much emjoyed this map. It was fun and rewarding. I'm glad I tried it. Made me want to try more of the maps on the map advertising section in the forums because I found this one in one.
Here is a map of mine that I need more feedback on if you wouldnt mind.

I have to admit I've liked every one of your maps so far. Challenging and thought provoking.
Geneosis 9 Jun, 2012 @ 9:32am
One more clever puzzle in your workshop ^^
Found 2 actions that could be exploits :
- You can reach the opposite side of the acid pit without the piston : Place a portal on the floor on the square adjascent to the piston, place the second at the top of the wall, jump in and use cumulate speed to fly to the other side ^^
- You can place the cube on the exit button without using the buttons to desactivate the fizzler (or maybe ony one) : First go to the door and take the cube with you (by placing some portals). Then place a portal at the end of the funnel and the other on the wall in front of you so that the end of the funnel is 1 square on top of you, finishing on the glass. Put the cube in the funnel. Move slowly the portal on the wall to move the cube to the button ^^

Again a link to my workshop if you have a moment ;)

Thanks for trying my map, you have made it simple for me to check any shortcuts which is very helpful. By doing that I have learned a new trick :) I'll be trying your maps a little later. If you have time, please try my other map Cathedral of Chambers #F4F. Thanks again!

Thanks, I'm fixing it now, hope you try it later and let me know if there are any more shortcuts I may have missed.

Good level, I liked the second part!

For the first part however, I finished it using only the tractor beam and two of the seven buttons you provided.
Constantine  [author] 19 May, 2012 @ 4:39am
Thanks heaps for the feedback, I'm changing that now :)
Ladicuis 19 May, 2012 @ 4:22am
Better! Though now I wanted to make the jump with the use of the tractor beam :-) (which failed haha)

And also you might want to add a cube dispenser in the final room. So you have at least one cube there if you drop all of them into the water accidentaly. (saw a hole in the ceiling, so I guess you had one there at one point)
Constantine  [author] 19 May, 2012 @ 3:48am
thanx for the comment, Can you please give it another go and see if you can still get through without using the tractor beam ?
Ladicuis 19 May, 2012 @ 2:28am
Good level, just not sure what the tractor beam was good for.
