Is there a way to restrict this to tier 3?
Jedi G 3 Feb, 2021 @ 9:53am
@Demon Layer The helmets are a different mod.
Brother Pigeon 2 Feb, 2021 @ 9:00pm
Helmets aren't working? are the helmets in this mod?
Gul Ducat 28 Oct, 2019 @ 4:10pm
It's looking great !
If you think you could add Comman & Conquer 3 Armors Brotherhood of NOD and GDI overalls or Comman & Conquer Alliance military armors?
That'd will be amazing

@Kad:
#1 - Yes, they're available at all armour tiers.
Tardo The Ass-Monkey 5 Sep, 2018 @ 10:12pm
2 tings. 1. Are the options for these armors available at all tech levels? 2. If you try to view a larger version of the second picture up there, it doesn't work.

@Stenchfury Thanks for the tips. But yeah thats why i was confused its just an aesthetic mod and i dont have any other mods installed so i was confused about why it was crashing. When i get a chance ill try what you suggested. Thanks again, and sorry for the totally vague and confusing bug report
Stenchfury  [author] 30 Jun, 2018 @ 1:14pm
@AvosGlory: I'm not sure honestly; it did worked fine last time I updated it, some ppl in the past reported crashes, and some of them reported solving it removing some other mod (name extending stuff If i remember correctly).
The only thing I feel like suggesting is browsing on the discussions up here^^^^ to see if some of the solutions posted there works for you.
And as a general note a full reinstall of the mod (unsubscribe\clean folder\resubscribe) could help if some file got damaged.

It's just an aesthetic mod that doesn't change any mechanic in the game so usually the worst thing that can happen is missing textures wich normally don't lead to crashes. So if that happens to you it might be related to something else.
AvosGlory 30 Jun, 2018 @ 12:48pm
i know you might not have the answer to this, but these two mods the armour and helmet mods have been leading to crashes. theyre the only ones i have installed but ever since i subscribed to them every time i attempt to complet a mission right before you have the loading screen in the sky ranger it crashes immediatly. im using the legacy versions of the mod and im not playing wotc so im not sure how this is happening. no one on google seems to have an answer either, sorry

Hey man, you are welcome :) and thanks for your support!
Kendov 4 Feb, 2018 @ 1:10am
I loved this mod since the beginning. I have played for a long time, and just realized that I totally forgot to ever express my appreciation for the greatest armor mod on my list. Thank you so much for this! :)

There's a link in the description.
Psalm 137:9 3 Feb, 2018 @ 8:24pm
WOTC edition?
Manquito Firefox 4 Dec, 2017 @ 2:05pm
You sir, youre fantastic!
[℘] Sarven 7 Sep, 2017 @ 6:05pm
The armor looks fantastic, but can you make nimble armor that looks modern?
(specificly arms)
Stenchfury  [author] 1 Sep, 2017 @ 4:52am
@alexholmes446: I would suggest to unsub from the vanilla one if you plan on just playing WOTC; just disabling the vanilla might still be a viable option, but some mods have been known to act wierdly and having conflicts while being just disabled.

It's literally the same mod with just a different ID and name; so single parts still share the same name, so I guess having them both enabled would lead to conflicts.
Lich Meister 1 Sep, 2017 @ 3:37am
so, I have to ask for others that have this mod and the WOTC variant, are they compatible? or should i unsub this variant for the WOTC?
Chéradénine 31 Aug, 2017 @ 5:33pm
Hey StenchFury, could you add the cursors for armor frequency in the option menu? Love your mods, but seeing one of your torso or legs mixed with vanilla is weird.
Graveling 31 Aug, 2017 @ 8:42am
hands down this is an amazing mod, its a must to pair up with the modular helmet for the ultimate soldier customization.
Stenchfury  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 7:12am
The WOTC version is UP as a separate mod; check it out at:

Thanks for all your hard work!
mrmeddyman 30 Aug, 2017 @ 3:24pm
You have the best armor mod on the Workshop that isn't the reconversion of XCOM 1 armor. Thanks for taking the time to update
Stenchfury  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:24am
Thanks man!
Angry Rope 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:14am
Your stuff is awesome by the way
Angry Rope 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:14am
That's a pain. Good luck!
Stenchfury  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:06am
Yeah I had a brief chat with him, I do need indeed to download the whole Toolkit content, the new shader it's in there I guess :P
Angry Rope 30 Aug, 2017 @ 8:56am
Hey Stenchfury. I'm not sure how available he is, but Cap'bub managed to get his helmets working. It might be worth asking him how he did it.
Nasarog 30 Aug, 2017 @ 5:19am
Awesome!!!
Stenchfury  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 5:13am
From what I was able to test this morning the Armor Mod is working, but it's indeed currently flagged as not compatible by the game; this might resolve as soon as I manage to finish downloading the new toolset with the new shader.

Might take a while but I'm on it ;)
Nasarog 30 Aug, 2017 @ 4:58am
@sephistrife - Same here. My game feels naked. I feel naked now. So many of my mods were quality of life mods. I'm missing their features.
Stenchfury  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 1:50am
@Sephistrife19: so far nothing easy; the Armor Mod seems pretty much ok; while the helmet mod has several items that are still broken; and simply recompiling the mod doesn't work :/ since there's no indications around on how to fix this It can take a while... :/
FSK | Seph 29 Aug, 2017 @ 4:26pm
@Nasarog I assume the same would be true for those, but I haven't checked. I have all of my mods turned off for now. I figure until some or most of the mods receive fixes or WOTC versions, I'm probably just going to do a mod-free campaign.
Nasarog 29 Aug, 2017 @ 2:05pm
@sephistrife19 - By cosmetic, did you mean the tattoo and camo mods too?
Stenchfury  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 2:03pm
Oh well, good to know, I'll check around for what needs to be done for the fix; no damage on doing a shader update :)
FSK | Seph 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:56pm
I've read on the subreddit that apparently cosmetic mods are an easy fix. Something about implementing changes for a new shader. Other mods may be a bitch and a half to fix, but cosmetics should only require comparatively minor changes.

On another note, some people are reporting that your mod works, even without it being updated, so at least some people are currently enjoying your mod as is in the expansion.
Stenchfury  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 1:25pm
Update: The download might take a while here; estimated atm is 7\8 hrs; will leave it up overnight and update the mods first time in the morning (Central Europe Time), hopefully it won't be too painful to fix :P
Nasarog 29 Aug, 2017 @ 12:49pm
@Stenchfury - Thank you. You rock. Your mod rocks too!!!
Stenchfury  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 12:47pm
@everyone: sure, I will update both this and the Helmet mod for WOTC; I just came home now; just need the time to download the DLC, recompile the mod and update it. Could take a few hours but I'll try to get it done today.
Nasarog 29 Aug, 2017 @ 11:27am
Willl this be updated for War of the Chosen?
FSK | Seph 29 Aug, 2017 @ 10:45am
@Stenchfury I know you stated that you'll be seeing if you could update your helmet mod for WOTC. Will you be revisiting your armor mod, as well?
Drakster 29 Aug, 2017 @ 10:24am
Please update this mod for WOTC.
KZFKreation 29 Aug, 2017 @ 9:06am
I'll be holding off from this mod for right now, but please do tell when WoTC Compatability is added- or if it is confirmed working!
nxclan 29 Aug, 2017 @ 7:26am
thx! that is just what i want!!
Astraben 27 Aug, 2017 @ 3:37pm

Dragon32 19 Aug, 2017 @ 1:48pm
@StreetPreacher:
Edit the mod's XComContent.ini file, put a semi-colon in front of the lines for tthe parts you don't want.
StreetPreacher 19 Aug, 2017 @ 10:13am
Great work! Any way I can put an edit someplace to restrict the armor to T2 or T3? They look pretty good, but seem out of place in T1.
Stenchfury  [author] 17 Aug, 2017 @ 12:39am
@Happy Turtle: Yeah sure, If I had time :) Ideally I would have loved to re-polish my first pieces and add a few more, but I'll hardly have the time for it anymore; not even sure I'll actually have the time to properly try War of the Chosen unless something changes in the current work situation :P
That unnervingly happy turtle. 16 Aug, 2017 @ 8:44pm
@Stenchfury Would you ever think of coming back to this mod if you had time? Even if you don't this and the helmets really makes the game that much better.
Stenchfury  [author] 16 Aug, 2017 @ 12:01am
@Bantichai: It wasn't really in the plans, but mostly a "maybe" if I have extra time, wich sadIy I didn't :/
Bantichai 15 Aug, 2017 @ 8:14pm
@Stenchfury Are you still planning to finish the latest armor, complete with legs and arm variants?
