Wah :( I was waiting to finally get Titanium to upgrade the sewing maschine and make the dye and I was sooo happy when I had my recycling bin ... but I didn't read that it isn't working >.< *cry*:steamsad:

Milori 29 Jan, 2017 @ 11:35am

-=Fox Taer=- 23 Nov, 2016 @ 2:36am

seems like the 1.1 update broke this, loved to use it to get protectorate items and other things i didnt realize i needed, any chance of an update?

Also:
[13:09:25.914] [Info] Recycling {name: brightertorch, count: 25, parameters: {}}
[13:09:25.921] [Info] Recycled to {name: {name: logblock, count: 1, parameters: {}}, count: 1000}
[13:11:38.907] [Info] Recycling {name: perfectlygenericitem, count: 795, parameters: {}}
[13:11:38.909] [Info] Recycled to {name: {name: cryonicextract, count: 1, parameters: {}}, count: 1000}

In these instances the inside 'count' takes precedence apparently so you get one item.
Weaver 6 Sep, 2016 @ 1:24pm
Interesting; not sure if I want to use it in a regular game but interesting.

Couple issues:
[13:09:34.223] [Info] Recycling {name: wvr_doorfix, count: 2, parameters: {}}
[13:09:35.789] [Error] Exception while invoking lua function 'update'. (LuaException) Error code 2, [string "/scripts/recycling.lua"]:59: attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value (local 'price')

This breaks the container until you pick it up and put it down again; you probably want to check that value for nil before continuing.

@*Yuki* That means the author was using (g)Vim, and forgot to close the editor before packaging the mod. I've almost done that a few times myself. The game will ignore it completely, thankfully.

Combine this mod with the "Universal Uncrafter"-Mod (i.e. us both!) and you have PROFIT! the green box often creates items which can be uncrafted into valuable resources or components. never built a base without it!
*Yuki* 2 Aug, 2016 @ 6:31pm
do you really need .player.config.patch.swp ?
G4 29 Jul, 2016 @ 9:42pm
Question. Since i an considering to subscribe.
Does this mod serve as an actual trashcan? Meaning everything (and i mean everything) that i put innit will dissapear?
Sometimes i get a lot of clutter and i want a more pratical way to get rid of then
*Yuki* 28 Jul, 2016 @ 3:38pm
should have more color variations and smaller window, imo
JesusIsAGoose 28 Jul, 2016 @ 10:40am
I have no issue with this mod though. It's great!
b1 25 Jul, 2016 @ 6:39pm
I inspected your recycling bin ingame and removed the mod afterwards and now everytime I try to pixelprint anything my starbound crashes, can you maybe do something about it? delete the entry for the pixel printer or something would be sweet.
777 25 Jul, 2016 @ 11:11am
oh @ Tom Coxon :>
BlueNights 25 Jul, 2016 @ 4:07am
It's still false advertising as the description claims/implies the ability to convert stacks of worthless junk into other worthless junk, but in reality what your mod actually does is demand things of actual price and value and convert them into progressively less valuable things, when we simply can sell the items and not lose anything.

It's just a 'screw you' trap.
tccoxon  [author] 25 Jul, 2016 @ 2:12am
@777 @TheStatic It always gives you something else of lower total value. If you put in something with price 0 you will get nothing back. Weapons tend to have high value. Try putting in diamonds, gold bars, other weapons.
777 24 Jul, 2016 @ 2:21pm
this mod just gives u blocks i havent got any weapons
BlueNights 23 Jul, 2016 @ 5:49pm
Doesn't "always gives you items", it'll refuse to give any items at all for items worth 10 pixels or lower. False advertising, worthless feature.
Магический Нуб 22 Jul, 2016 @ 10:08pm
Exsellent, this is what i need
Worsham 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:53pm
does it work with dirt?
No Opinion Man 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:05pm
*Universal Uncrafter
No Opinion Man 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:05pm
Oh, the universal crafter does that.. nevermind.
No Opinion Man 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:03pm
It'd be pretty neat if you made a version that turns items into the raw materials they'd be made from instead of replacing them randomly. It'd have more use without being unbalanced, and it makes more sense considering the purpose of recycling. I assume it'd be much more challenging to implement though. This is still a cool mod.
CowChunks 22 Jul, 2016 @ 5:39pm
Cool! I'll Try it out:steamhappy:
foxtails 22 Jul, 2016 @ 12:22pm
