I've used Floran sprites as placeholders for stuff. I've got someone working on the sprites, but they've got their own stuff to deal with as well, so it's still slow-going lol
I thought I had enabled Fenerox as crewmates, but I'll definitely have to dig around more and figure out what I've done wrong.
I will list a few cons, based on what needs work.
= More options for fenerox color schemes. (Just my opinion, anyway.)
= Pixel art for the ship STILL Hasn't been done, yet. (If you wanted, you could just take some pre-existing pixel art for that, and then just give it some minor tweaking to give some distinction.
= I think there should also be the option of allowing fenerox as crewmates, too!
= The armors look EXACTLY the same as the floran armors, so they could use tweaking, as a result. (I advise making them merely look similar; NOT exact.)
I've still got at least two different versions on my computer I need to go through and compare to figure out which one's... less unfinished.
I was thinking they'd've learned from various other species' as far as structure goes, but yeah I was gonna go for a brownish coppery style for the main coloring. :D
I've been doing a little better recently, but I've been sick. I've got to get everything re-organized, but then I should be able to start working on things again.
I of course will never promise deadlines, but I should be able to squeeze even a little bit of modding into my schedule in the coming weeks.
Just wanna give respect to you that you keep trying. And also thank you bringing us this mod - it is a really nice addition to Starbound, and has brought me (and others I'm sure) a lot of entertainment. Your work is appreciated.
However, I see down below that you have been struggling with depression. As somebody who has suffered from that myself for many years, I very much feel for you and sympathise with your plight. I know how difficult it can be to keep going, and find motivation for anything, in dark times.
The art will change when I change it, but is currently made from placeholder bits. The earlier tiers suffer from a lack of creativity at that size. I designed backwards from the final tier, so getting that sort of design crammed into the smaller space is stretching the limits of my already limited creativity.
Once I get everything sorted-out properly, I do still intend to keep working on those. They're just placeholder for my sake really, so I can tell how much I've replaced and how much I have to go.
I still haven't abandoned it. I'm just depressed and not good at art.
Crashes for anyone who doesn't have the mod, mostly.
