I have other maps. They're listed on my workshop individually and in collections representing the map packs I originally released them in.
KittyPeccata 11 Jun, 2013 @ 4:16pm
look up some of my maps :)
KittyPeccata 11 Jun, 2013 @ 4:14pm
your welcome but do you other maps?
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 11 Jun, 2013 @ 3:33pm
Thanks.

Hammer is the level editor for the Source Engine (What Portal 2 runs on).

hammer? oh well it's a cool chamber
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 10 Jun, 2013 @ 11:43pm
The arrows are a combination of several entities in Hammer. No mods used.
KittyPeccata 10 Jun, 2013 @ 5:04pm
to make the arrows tell you werre to go?
KittyPeccata 10 Jun, 2013 @ 5:03pm
would you use some type of mod?
The Sojourner 22 Sep, 2012 @ 5:12pm
@ArgleBargle, I thought this test was a little like the green force floors from Chip's Challenge too :P Still fun though.

Si vous avez un peu de temps dite moi ce que vous en pensez

I didn't get that the arrows were more than just "Suggestions" until the second half of the puzzle.

Well done!
Ƀ4®¢0Ϸ3™ 2 Jun, 2012 @ 6:19am
at some points you can walk between the arrows.
Le Petit Mort 31 May, 2012 @ 8:52pm
Combine this mechanic with some world-portals for some real trouble.
ArgleBargle 31 May, 2012 @ 7:39pm
Interesting. Was I the only person who thought "Chip's Challenge?"
JSW 30 May, 2012 @ 10:47am
That was pretty cool.

The arrow images are from Portal 2's assets. The rest, I made myself. A few brushes and a couple triggers
Artiamus 29 May, 2012 @ 6:37pm
How do you do the arrows? I've never seen them before.
rupii 29 May, 2012 @ 8:04am
Nice area
jasmoe10 28 May, 2012 @ 11:35pm
a little hobbyless look at my testchambers
spottty 28 May, 2012 @ 10:58pm
i liked it but i didn't love it but still how do you do this stuff ,if someone made a game THAY can't do that stuff how do you do it
Bugga™ 28 May, 2012 @ 8:36pm
Very interesting idea, original. Needs to be harder next run though!
EvanED 28 May, 2012 @ 7:54pm
I should change my rating to thumbs down for getting "one way or another" stuck in my head :-p
KittyPeccata 28 May, 2012 @ 4:56pm
It's not as hard as I thouhgt it would be.
Necronomicon 28 May, 2012 @ 4:52pm
OK idea, but I found myself just forcing my way through the edges of each arrow. This would make for an interesting map had it been all launching pads.
KittyPeccata 28 May, 2012 @ 4:34pm
This looks really hard.
darkAnthrax 28 May, 2012 @ 4:21pm
I like the idea but you need to put it to a more challanging map
Diego 28 May, 2012 @ 3:35pm
A nice incipit for more detailed maps
Rocketeer Raccoon 28 May, 2012 @ 2:19pm
Simple as pie.
TermitesRGood 28 May, 2012 @ 1:27pm
Good map
O'Brian 28 May, 2012 @ 1:21pm
Interesting effect... but it doesn't really sounds like "Portal" to me. This is another game.
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 28 May, 2012 @ 1:14pm
Noted.
Zeiros Lion 28 May, 2012 @ 1:08pm
Interesting idea, but I indeed do not like being told where to go.

So now you know.
VioletTigerH1 28 May, 2012 @ 12:33pm
=D
Blindes Huhn 28 May, 2012 @ 12:10pm
It's interesting that you can force the player to move in a certain direction, but the arrows don't add anything to this puzzle. They are just annoying. If you implement something like this it should be an integral part of the puzzle. Also I would recommend a button to open the last door and not a pressure plate. Timed switches are usually buttons and people expect to need a cube for a plate and will look for a way to weight it down.
ultimatelife666 28 May, 2012 @ 10:31am
Your tests are pretty cool
Cubik 28 May, 2012 @ 10:28am
A very unique puzzle idea. the 2nd puzzle was actually pretty easy seeing as you can side step arrows, and move in any direction such that it immidiately doesnt go against an arrow. I'd like to see more work with this idea, maybe intigrating portals more fluidly
ThatGreekGuy 28 May, 2012 @ 8:19am
this is so difirent
ShyRanger 28 May, 2012 @ 7:33am
love it
Dog_Jello 28 May, 2012 @ 5:29am
Another neat idea but the neatness wore off once the annoyance factor set in. Actually got stuck the first time and had to reset. lol
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 28 May, 2012 @ 1:52am
Indeed. Gotta love hindsight. :(

I have a few things to get done before I tackle a more advanced version.
Kibate 28 May, 2012 @ 1:39am
Interresting idea, but a bit boring, you could have done more with it.
Baron-Triple7 27 May, 2012 @ 8:42pm
Inovative idea. Keep experementing with cause it was rather simple.
DR3y 27 May, 2012 @ 7:58pm
Impressive, as always.
StayTainted™ 27 May, 2012 @ 7:00pm
the hammer editor make my cry :)
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 27 May, 2012 @ 6:50pm
Rammstein: No, this was not made with the new editor.
