Completely new design
But i have actually started working on a ttt map within these past 2 weeks (idk why, i don't really play games anymore but it seemed cool)
personally, there should only be a couple roads connecting the towns. too many maps have way too many flat areas, and roads make stuff flat, and flat makes battle way too simple and unrealistic.
there is a map on world of tanks that has a big castle going up a hill along two very wide brick roads, and i love that. maybe you could raise one of the cities onto a hill with a stone wall around it?
another thing i think a lot of good maps lack are huge natural cave systems. i know these sorts of things can be really complicated, but being able to drive a group of tanks through a big dimly lit underground cave network would give a new style of combat for people to try. and to make the caves more realistic, you could run train tracks through the main ones so it looks like a giant mine shaft, maybe even an underground city in the center under the lake.
And I haven't even installed it yet!
Sorry i haven't replied. I've been taking a break, and also have been busy with work.
It's really fun, alot of people like to make models of real life tanks (Mostly WW2 tanks) and set up the correct gun caliber, ammo, engine, and all that as close as they can. It's great fun.
This is to increase as much fps as possible, in result. the map doesn't look as pretty as i wish it did.
ONLY IF GMOD WAS 64BIT... and used my graphics card.
Way to get my map out there.
