Hey, I've tried to contact you. This mod conflicts with every mod changing the functionality of the dash. You can easily fix that by creating patch files for the dash.tech file instead of replacing the lua file. Message me if you want help with that.
I don't really care either way, but just curious, anyway, thanks for the mod!
Ever consider that the reason they give players access to the APIs and included a "mod" folder in the file structure is so that players can mod in whatever crazy, potentially gamebreaking stuff they want?
The devs had reasons for removing things, yes, but they also had reasons for giving players the tools to modify the game.
They are excited because some people enjoy just crazy, unlimited fun.
So just scurry off.
The fact that you can "energy dash across entire planets, only touching the ground about 5 times" isn't actually a good thing; it's practically a bug. Ever consider that the reason they changed it is because people were exploiting it?
But it is kinda OP now, may be adding a cost of 3-5 energy per dash to balance it out ?
It's removal (Rather than say, push it to late game for balance) really sadden me, even more so than the nerf to the Rod of Discord in Terraria that was similar. D:
because it's a great thing to add it back in but, legitoholic's like me want to work really hard for somthing like this.
But I'm still getting it because it's awsome! and why not ya-know!?!?
Maybe make this into a seperate late game tech?
