Turns out crew will attack the ghost if thy are piloting mechs, at least for me they do, very handy.

It does respawn; and afaik it always has the speed based on how much erchius you have - no matter if you just landed on the planet for example

Idk why you say it doesn't speed up. because if your not really collecting ridiculous amounts of fuel, then of course it won't be really all that fast but... it literally zooms right at you when you have a bunch of fuel just about. (It slows down once it gets close to you as to not overshoot it's target.) Besides, if you have a mod with the ability to zoom out pretty far, and watch, you might see it come flying at you really fast from afar before slowing down once close enough to slow down reasonably to just swarm around you and be a nuisance if your in admin mode.

I just wanted to say the Erchius Ghost does NOT speed up according to how much fuel you have. It is a consistently slow enemy. It is only fast when it is offscreen.

Thank you for making this mod. Now whenever i see one of these fuckers while mining for Erchius, i can just rattle em with my Mech's tommygun.

yo with any capture mod (im not advirtising i suggest u try it because youl be op) i suggest you download it so u can capture the ghost itself then your op

So I joined a friend who didn't install the mods I told him too (including this one) so i crashed a error code. So when we finish playing I go to my own save and now I can't do anything to the ghosts. I've tried installing and uninstalling already.

I haven't looked in a long time but I think it was around 300? Also it respawns fairly quickly if I remember correctly, as I could never work out how to prevent that, will look into it though.

How reasonable is reasonable health? In my opinion it should be kind of difficult to kill since its the only threat on airless planets, but I'm still going to try this mod regardless because I miss being able to just spend hours filling up on fuel

possibly add a drop maybe? like maybe a life drain weapon that takes a while and is more effective the closer you are, like the ghosts own attack?

@LiamTheFish, i agree. But if you have some sort of mod with super op items or your charecter is like, so op, then no. but still, i guess you could say the first boss which means he'll/she'll just be an easy boss when you're stronger.

it's already killable using sound or light related guns(i know because i've done it before. NO mods). maybe swords too... But still! this mod makes him/her killable with any weapon. awsome mod because of that! i've always hated that i had to run away from him/her when i was a weak charecter.

As it stands, the pollen pump no longer damages or kills it without a mod enabeling it to be killed.

How many hit points do the ghosts even have? I was hoping that I could one shot erichus ghosts with early game weapons, so that they are a hazard, but an easily avoidable one.

I probably have a great idea. I will not subb to this now, since it doesn't make sense to whack a ghost dead with a sword, BUT, if you make him susceptible to either elemental ( like a fellow commenter said earlier ) or to a special type of damage like dark, or shadow or whatever, that means weapons crafted out erchius and with high tier ores ( solarium ? aegisalt? even tons of moondust? ), that would make sense and would be fun. This way its gated that you have to invest in it a little, by getting to high tier ore, but it certainly would be worth the challenge.
