an interesting interaction i've noticed with the Armor Augments mod: it doesn't matter if you equip an augment in your EPP or in armor, it still gives the light effect.

I love the concept of this mod, however the lvl 3 light is a bit too bright for my tastes, is there a version of this mod that just does light lvl 2 on all the augments? Or maybe I can make that myself by modifying this mod myself?

Great mod buddy. I love it. Is there a way you can make this mod compatible with the "augmentation IV' mod? There is no option to leave a review on his mod page so Im curious if there is anything that can be done on your end to produce the same effect with IV augments equipped.

Can you make this work with Frackin Universe EPPs?

I replaced my poison augment with a cold shield II from Frackin Universe (FU) and the light won't work with it. Seems only to work with regular EPP Augments

this is useful, especially fro frackin' universe 'cuz it gets rid of the light emited by your player naturally, which is a real pain in the butt

This mod has a glitch that is quite annoying, and is why i got "Light the way"

When I teleport anywhere after my Character has been running for about 2-5 mins I get kicked back to the place I teleperted from. if I try to teleport again directly after, I don't get kicked back to the place I last was.

I don't know how this mod could be the cause of a teleport error but it is, you don't even know how much testing I had to go through to find that the problem was this mod.

It might be a small bug, but it's a big problem. Please fix this.

I didn't steal this mod. I made Light the Way because this mod does not make proper use of Starbound's mod patching system, and also seems to include a bunch of extra files.
This mod probably conflicts with every other augment mod because it just overrides the entire augments folder.

A request: Can you do a mod that add Swimming to the Mobility augment? I mean, it would only make sense for it to give better mobility underwater too.

As others have mentioned I would love to see this mod add to the augments from Frackin Universe. Great mod as it is though, really hard to live without it once you've had it. :)

@Carkasjak - I was having some problems with a few stray commas in the code just about everywhere. It should be fixed now. If not, try unsubscribing then resubscribing.

Since the update 8 minutes ago, the game now crashes after the chucklefish logo on launch. Works fine again when I remove this mod. I'm running the Linux version, but I have no idea if the same issue exists on windows.

@EVERYONE SUBSCRIBED TO THIS MOD - Make SURE you re-apply the augments you have installed to your EPP, especially if they were installed before you subscribed to this mod. Instructions can be found in the description but I will re-post them here:
-Type "/admin" in chat.
-Type "/spawnitem augmentname" in chat, while your cursor is over your character, replacing "augmentname" with the name of your augment. See the mod description for the augment names, make sure to use the ones in the paranthesis.
-Type "/admin" in chat.
-Re-apply the augment to your EPP.

Slight bug I've found is that the Gravity augment does not have a light.

Is there a chance to do a separate EPP Augments enhanced with Light augments? Because I like the challenge of assembling both, but with this mod I can just not bother with upgrading my MM to collect liquid (to get oil). Feels kinda cheaty.

This is a great mod nonetheless.

What's the id for the augments? I had the gravity augment before installing the mod and there's no light emited from the pack.

@grumpychris I did as you said and it worked, I guess the problem was because I had the modules from before I installed the mod, so it seems that it is indeed compatible with freakin universe, even with the EPP it adds!

@🎄Maddo🎅🏻Scientisto🎄 - Unfortunately I'm not sure how I would go about making it compatible with Fracking Universe. Unless Fracking Universe replaces the augments as well then the mod should still work, as this mod essentially just replaces the augments with different versions that have additional effects.
If you have not yet done so, try spawning in a new version of the augment with console commands and re-applying it to your EPP. See my previous comment on how to do so, replacing "speedaugment" with whatever augment your EPP has. You can use the official wiki to find out the exact item names.

@DumbCustomer - I checked the mod files and the light 2 augment effect is indeed attached to the "Speed" augment. I also tested it in-game and it seems to work fine. I'm not sure what the problem is.
Try getting another speed augment through console commands and re-applying it to your EPP. You can do this by inputting the following commands in chat.
/admin
/spawnitem speedaugment
/admin
Make sure your cursor is near you so the item will spawn near you.

Thanks a lot for this ! I am quite disapointed for now with the lack of recipes/varietys/techs within the game.

ABOUT YOUR MOD ONE BUG :, I just installed a Blue legendary Speed augment on one of the my packs. The augment has no rating despite being blue : there is no light when installed on the backpack.
Maybe your mod does not apply light whemnn there is n number to the augment inserted ?

It would be cool to have a mod where you can add augment slots to a backpack at a mid to end level game cost.
The idea would be diffrent and probably more complicated though.
