So basically it's the outer rims of the everything where there are more and more stars being torn apart from the infinite expansion of the universe

@Gordon Gekko If you mean the unstable version, I'll download it and take a look. I've been meaning to update this anyways, as the version on the chucklefish games forums is a lot cooler. We'll see when I get to it though. I don't get much time off these days.

Could you please update this mod? I had a mod last a while back called DarkSpace that I absolutely loved, but both that one and your mod don't work for the newest version.

I like this mod, but is there any chance you could do a version with a little more stars? I feel the skies are now just a bit too empty. I like the less twinkle, and I love the removed "space fog" which I hate. A little more stars and it could actually look more like space, rather than the color swirl soup we get in vanilla.

@Kefky All the background stuff in the sky is procegerally generated from what I can see. What this means is that modders can add or replace their own background stuff to load in. What I'd love to see someone do is add realistic constilations, more realistic looking stars like you'd see from space and perhaps a subtle milky way looking stripe, if that's possible. This is sort of a proof of concept compared to the type of complete space overhaul that's possible.

@Charger1968 Client side I'm guessing. I'm not sure how that works anymore.

Looks gorgeous.
Is there a way to make you see other planets in your galaxy, smaller of course?

is this a client side mod? or does my friend need to get it as well?
Bird! 30 Jul, 2016 @ 3:38pm
I like it, improves performance but it doesn'tr emove completely the background. Thanks for the mod.

@Crabdoodles I don't know. I just hated the look of the vanilla space and I use a mod that adds additional zoom levels. This is much more pleasent for me, especially when zoomed out to something game breaking.
Crabdoodles 27 Jul, 2016 @ 7:41pm
Does this make for better game performance? :SBpenguin:
deimoah 26 Jul, 2016 @ 7:01am
doesnt look as beutiful as the real game but it helps with the zoom options, if we have modded ones. thanks!
Ryusa 25 Jul, 2016 @ 10:58pm
great! looks like a real universe.

Thank you so much for this.
