2nd congrats on this mod :)

but could i ask a small favour please...
there seems to be a file with mixed characters here:
"F:\Steam_LIB\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods\731878767\Languages\Russian\Ä»¿ßá¡¿Ñ.txt" which is causing some old modding tools an issue.

if you get a moment to check and maybe it can be renamed to basic alphabet, it will help a lot.
(basically i am going through a bunch of mods with some grep search tools to make some oe my mods more compatible, but a few mods with these characters are causing a few issues on those tools.

its not urgent but if you get some time it will help :)

Vanilla Rimworld has no boots at all, there are only pants, the body part and a helmet. These three parts will give full protection

Not that I'm aware of. The mod adds mostly. The only thing that is modified from vanilla is the power armor suit, but the modification is conditional since the last update.

The issue was that both combat extended and my protection suit mod were adding protection against toxic fallout for the power armor, but neither checked if the value already existed. My mod does now, so make sure to load it after CE

Just an fyi... added the newly updated Combat extended and then was getting this error along with a similar one. Bet it's a simple fix, but what do I know. :)

XML error: Duplicate XML node name ToxicSensitivity in this XML block: <equippedStatOffsets><PsychicSensitivity>-0.2</PsychicSensitivity><AimingAccuracy>0.15</AimingAccuracy><ToxicSensitivity>-0.50</ToxicSensitivity><ToxicSensitivity>-0.20</ToxicSensitivity></equippedStatOffsets>

Disabled this mod and the error went away. Thanks for creating and extending the game.

@yagiou that might just be a simplification for gameplay reasons :P
Either way, with the current situation of the protection stat against radiation I'm unable to differentiate between radiation rays and particels. For now I'll leave it, until RimAtomics change stuff too.

@ #Lebkuchen Not entering a reactor core room to swap spent rods is what you would normally do on real life, but not on rimworlds where you don't have NIOSH and OSHA xDD
And i can be certain that suits from Rimatomics protect against radiation from radioactive slag, that i assume is pure radiation exposure, not airborne particles, so i imagined it had metal plates (they also use steel to craft).
Though there is an event, nuclear fallout, that is indeed radiation exposure trough particles.

My suit is supposed to be a full enclosing suit with internal oxygen source, so you won't come in contact with any harmful particels (like the current toxic fallout). As radiation rays and particels aren't differentiated by RimAtomics I can't add different protection values for radiation particels and rays (nor make a new suit to adress your suggestion).

If the author of RimAtomics add the different sources of radiation damage, I might tweak my suit accordingly

@yagiou realisticly you wouldn't like to go into a reactor core room with any kind of protection. The big issue with radiation in form of electromagnetic rays is that you need thick lead shielding to protect you still just to some degree. Radioactive particels on the other hand is a different story. You can shield yourself from these entering your body quite easily with full enclosed suit and internal oxygen source.
The idea, as far as I understand it, is that you use such suits to protect you from any harmful particels in the air or from touching things and try to minimize exposure time to the radiation source.

CBRN are for airbone particles isn't it? i thought Rimatomics suit was for direct radiation exposure (like when you have to go into the core room xD), and that would be 2 different kinds of suits.

@yagiou Why shouldn't I have added it? The real-life counterpart does that as well. It's a full enclosed suit with internal oxygen source, which should protect you against chemical and biological threats (what I think toxic fallout is) and also against radiological and nuclear threats (Check out CBRN defense). It doesn't give immunity against radiation, but as I'm not sure about how to balance it, it gives the same radiation protection as the protection suit from RimAtomics, but split across the three parts.

And what would be the purpose of yet another suit added, which inherits the base property of toxic protection, as well as the radiation protection? If you play with RimAtomics and my Enviromental Protection Set, you would then get three different suits, where one blocks toxic fallout, and two block toxic fallout and radiation.. Guess which one will never get used :P

@#Lebkuchen you shouldn't have added protection against radiation nor radioactive fallout, they are completely different things, and that other mod already has protective gear against it.
Though if you add another, yet fancier suit to protect you from everything, i wouldn't complain xD

Nice mod, I'm using Rimatomics and i'm not getting a radiation stat added to the ABC suit. It only protects aganist toxic fallout and not radioactive fallout and nucular fallout from rimatomics. Are you able to fix this?
