@Here comes Alta, I've been having the same idea but I think it's all up to us (The community) to all work together on just making so maybe "One Mod" to detect and help Starbound start up with what mods it does detect that'll all work together, maybe even have a pop up menu showing you what options you have according to what mods are installed and be able to organize what you want, with what you need and it would be interesting to see happen if it does happen. :3 I've seen a "Collection Fixer" But he never answered my question so who knows? lol ^_^

What if you made an auto sorting item broadcaster. Like dumping your excess then having certain items put in certain "labeled" containers by applying filters. I'm not good at mods or I would do it. :l
