OliRO 11 Feb, 2024 @ 12:43pm
Is there a way to make it work with Starforge?
BoopDoopIW 25 Dec, 2023 @ 6:18pm
this worked great for a few days and then completely stopped working.
Doomsday_Paladin 19 Jul, 2023 @ 9:12pm
if you need rotten food for compost for mods that add growing trays like frackin universe use a mod that lets you craft rotten food
Commander Gray 31 May, 2023 @ 5:45am
This mod works for me, it has always worked. I'm not sure what's different for me, but I've played hundreds of hours with this installed and never seen rotten food. So...
Eleven 1 Jan, 2023 @ 4:05pm
Does not work.
Dekrosna 29 Jun, 2022 @ 8:26pm
ok tested and does not work... unfortunate honestly cause I am tired of having to constantly stack food items via a fridge.
Dekrosna 29 Jun, 2022 @ 8:23pm
question... will the Compost panel from the Entropy Electrics mod still turn the food items into the Rotten Food item with this mod? (I'll probably test it out and anyways.)
REDBLUpootisMANN 9 Feb, 2022 @ 4:07pm
Something is wrong with the mod it stopped working.
The_Gaming_Zone 28 Jan, 2022 @ 11:36pm

ZapDoggo 12 Dec, 2021 @ 11:53am
works for me, but would like an alternative that works with FU's compost bin, since I'd like to speed up crop growth still at least.
cutetea 23 Mar, 2021 @ 5:07am
not working
melsii 3 Mar, 2021 @ 4:28am
Doesn't work too!
Joey Dagger 24 Feb, 2021 @ 3:38pm
Doesn't work
Hugo 22 Jun, 2020 @ 5:35am
Doesn't play nice with mods that change the stack limit, cooked food and milk won't stack at all, most farm produce won't stack past 20 and even meat won't stack past 99.
Leaving this here because while it is working properly for me, I'm using a mod to increase the stack limit to almost a million, having it prevent that stack limit from being applied to food is a big downside for me.
Duxtorm 21 Mar, 2020 @ 5:36am
Stopped working over time
Ghoose 25 Sep, 2019 @ 5:38pm
nice title picture
CPU_Sadie 31 May, 2019 @ 11:51am
seems bugged it stopped working bud
Jokiu 9 Feb, 2019 @ 12:11am
It worked for me for the longest time but doesn't seem to work anymore... I think it might be because the Ellithian Races mod conflics with it?
Bonbon 27 Aug, 2018 @ 2:59am
worked for some time but then stopped
Polecat 29 Sep, 2017 @ 8:09am
Doesn't seem to be working since the last update, is this mod still being updated?
Nekohime 11 Sep, 2017 @ 12:01pm
Is this mod client side?
Hitilit 5 Jul, 2017 @ 9:58pm
Dont Work i_i
Pion 11 Jun, 2017 @ 2:31pm
. . . Is 1.3 keeping this from working?
Mark 27 Feb, 2017 @ 6:32pm
is this compatible to FU
Xel 10 Jan, 2017 @ 12:51am
All the same, even if I'm not using it at this point in time... a good mod. I've had several times where I'd be at work deep underground, start starving, I check my inventory, and most of the food I picked up expired.

...which kinda makes me want to be able to eat the monsters I run into, like a proper slime. Maybe I should start using hunting weapons.
Xel 10 Jan, 2017 @ 12:47am
I'm guessing (or at least hoping) this's client-side. My friends are using it, but I can't 'cause of my slime mod. Slimes can turn rotten food into goo, which is used for a couple recipes, so I... actually kinda NEED food to rot. Hehe.

Also, Steam needs to add categories people can display to show whether something is intended to be client-side or not.

@lizardorb
If you're using Improved Food Descriptions I suggest you give this mod a try:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731818324
It's an addon for IFD that stops rot and allows stacking. Sadly I don't think ANY mods that change food timers will work with IFD unless specifically designed around it.
lizardorb 10 Sep, 2016 @ 3:37pm
I was wondering if you could make a version that doesn't add the description 'never going to rot'? I want to be able to use this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731354142
but it doesn't seem to do anything with your mod installed. I'd rather use your mod and the Food Stack mod then the description mod's addon, which doesn't work quite the same way.
Pion 26 Aug, 2016 @ 9:50pm
Well, I have no clue how that fixed it, but it did. I unsubscribed, relaunched the game, quit the game, then resubscribed. Its fixed now. :]
Pion 26 Aug, 2016 @ 9:41pm
I'm going to unsubscribe and re-subscribe and see if that fixes it.
Pion 26 Aug, 2016 @ 9:40pm
Yeah, I checked and it says the mod is installed. So I have no clue why The original rot time is back.
Pion 26 Aug, 2016 @ 9:36pm
uuum, I had installed this mod a while ago, And it was working. Any food I got after installing it, said it wasn't going to rot, and it didn't rot. But I just now launched my game, and now All of my food has the original game's rot time. . . I'll check to see if the mod is still working and in my mod list.
VinierAardvark1 10 Aug, 2016 @ 6:17am
Just had to restart
VinierAardvark1 10 Aug, 2016 @ 6:17am
Nevermind it works now... And I have a collection of al my mods
Keydose  [author] 10 Aug, 2016 @ 3:41am
@-={🐺UIA🐾}= [R.E.A.C.H] Laz0r$hir You must have an incompatible mod, what mods do you have installed?
VinierAardvark1 9 Aug, 2016 @ 5:13pm
ALL of my food still rots...
Before and After installing this mod
Silver Lloyd 5 Aug, 2016 @ 8:52pm
Thank you!
Keydose  [author] 5 Aug, 2016 @ 8:31pm
@phe0nix9090v2 They do if you want their food to show 'Never going to rot' but if you're not bothered about that, they don't need the mod, because you'll have the modified disabled rotting script running server-side
Silver Lloyd 5 Aug, 2016 @ 6:51pm
So if i host a steam multiplay do my freinds need the mod too?
Keydose  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 11:11am
@Zé do lixo Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible for me to do anything about it, the only way you'll be able to get no rotting food on the server is if the server or the person hosting the server has the mod installed too.
KitaQman 28 Jul, 2016 @ 10:47am
that's bad to hear
i hope you can do something about it on the future.
Keydose  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 10:40am
@Zé do lixo Ah so it's as I expected, I do think that those foods will rot too even though they show 'Never going to rot' because I think all of the scripts such as rotting are ran server-side unfortunately.
KitaQman 28 Jul, 2016 @ 10:39am
so i tested.
the foods that i already had did rotted but i dont think the foods that i prepared after installing the mod will rot. if they do, i will tell ya about it.
Keydose  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 9:05am
@Zé do lixo Thanks man :steamhappy:
KitaQman 28 Jul, 2016 @ 8:45am
i'll take a look at that next time i play starbound
Keydose  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 8:41am
@Zé do lixo I'm honestly not exactly sure; would you be able to test this out for me? I know that nothing bad would happen or anything like that, I'm just curious as to what is retained and what doesn't work on Multiplayer. My initial thoughts are that the description may display Never going to rot but the food will still rot, could you let me know?
KitaQman 28 Jul, 2016 @ 8:35am
What if i use it on a multiplayer server?
