@TitaniumSpyBorgBear isnt this over a comment thats >6 months old? simply suggested that if only there were a way to make this easier for creators to take a step further, then there might be more mods like this one. Now you could take it that in a bad way, like a terribly insecure person...OR you could take it as me saying more people should strive to make mods by following your example. In spite of all of this, i appologized, if you dont accept it, I wont loose any sleep.

@kwvance Dude, do you not realize how selfish you're sounding? for me that's a lot of work, also it already has rigging and weight painting.

@TitaniumSpyBorgBear i did not intend to offend you. The reason I said what I did is beacause your model is so well done, and I understand doing things like rigging,, painting weights and then programming is a whole bother ballgame from modeling and texturing. I could easily see it being in the animals tab in gmod.

Not really, all it'd require is ANY model to click with the toolgun. That's kinda the same thing as letting people use the models you upload to the workshop in their Garry's Mod.
I mean, all it'd do is look at the bones for any sort of model and then rig something in the vein of SFM that moves around and such.
Not really them taking your model, if you get what I'm saying.

No it wouldn't, it'd simply require them to make a script to recognize bones on models and build an NPC accordingly, a la Model Manipulator only without all the T-posing.

Spyborg, I don't think he was talking about you doing it, and I second his thoughts in saying that there needs to be one.

someone needs to make a basic npc thing that reconizes keynames for joints then someone should decide on rig names for a quadroped...does it bother anyone else there are 3 animals in the animal npc list...and there all birds?
