Bumble sounds like the main character to the xcom squad.

I completely understand why people would put these on human soldiers. These voices, while they may come from sentient machines, don't SOUND like they do. They don't have that mechanical tinge to then. No robotic monotone. These voices have inflections and stresses like a human being. They may belong to a cybertronian but they sound human.

@darkdill Oh hell yes! The decepticon trooper voices, Vortex included, would be awesome!

I assume the author isn't making more, but I would've loved a Decepticon pack. Vortex, for instance, was awesome in Fall of Cybertron.

actually fine for now, they load up the voice. I'll just need to avoid going into voice on the three i'm using these guys on for the meantime till the other one shows up.

@ Arkhangel, sorry didn't occur to me that some people might use them for regular soldiers. I'll try to upload an unlocked version soon. I don't want to bundle it with this for those who prefer Spark only. In the meantime there is an easy fix:

Go to your Steam folder -> Steamapps -> workshop -> content -> XCOM2 (268500 on my pc, may have a different ID on yours) -> 735706485 (mod id, don't think it would be different on yours) -> config

path should look like this:
[wherever Steam is installed] > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 268500 > 735706485 > config

open the "XComContent" file

you'll see a few lines, this is part of it
TemplateName="FemaleVoice1_ARCEE", ArchetypeName="ArceePack.ArceeMatrix", CharacterTemplate="SparkSoldier")

erase the part that says CharacterTemplate="SparkSoldier"

so the line should look like this
TemplateName="FemaleVoice1_ARCEE", ArchetypeName="ArceePack.ArceeMatrix")

actually.... you kinda should've left it so we could use them for male and female too. they're good voices.... plus two of my non-SPARK soldiers were kinda using those >.< course, suppose they'll keep the voices as long as i don't touch that ingame or in the CP.

Still, would be nice to have a "sidegrade" to the pack that adds Arcee to female and the Autoguys to male.

@ thinkbomb, the Spark voices are listed as NONE under gender which allows thenm to be used for the Sparks and unfortunately male and female. When I built these, back when the Sparks were first introduced, this was the only way to make voices for them. It's been awhile now so when I get a chance I'll see if a fix for that has been found. It was something I wanted to fix awhile ago but got busy with other things and didn't have the knowhow and also it's been awhile since I've messed with the game. But with the new expansion coming out soon I will look to see if a fix has been found.

Zaku II (laggy addon collector), I can't remember who all was in the game, but there were quite a few transformers. It would have taken more time than I wanted to spend for me to do every single one so I did my favorite ones and Arcee just because she was the only female Autobot. Sorry if your favorite ones got left out.

You know, a thought just hit me: While I doubt they have the same voice actor, Bumblebee in this pack sounds quite similar to Cheetor from the Beast Wars.

@ Oberfuhrer-Razgriz, yes you can use these for humans. I don't remember all the lines but I don't believe there are any robo specific lines.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned but I've been wondering... would these voicepacks be available for Humans as well?

I'm particularly interested in using Bumblebee's voicepack for one of my Human characters because of the voice actor. Unless BB's voicepack has lines that are very specific to a Transformer/mechanical-being.

Next would be some decepticon voices from some of the characters. and eventually autobot soldier and decepticon soldier voice lines. :) this is going great, i'll wait for what else you make.

@ Yellow 13, what Deadput said, different voice actors. Also pulling clips from a tv show is a lot more time comsuming than ripping them from a game.

@Yellow13 Hasbro used to say so but it's impossible for the games to fit in the show for many reasons mostly lore ones.


Thier not even the same voices at all and they are not from video games so you can't make voice packs of them.

If possible, something I'd reccomend would be to include some quotes from the Prime TV Show as they're in the same continuity and all.

Now all we need are versions of the skins with the Autobot and Decepticon symbols

For me renaming at least for a couple files from .fsb into .mp3 seems to change them and I don't need to use any extracting tools.

@ Deadput, readme files says you can extract folders using F6 should speed things up somewhat

I don't know of a way to, maybe with a different extractor you can. That's part of the reason I didn't want to do everybody. Would have been too time consuming to have to extract all those files individually. There's a seperate folder for each game. Once you start extracting pushing F12 on the convert voices will bring up the file location, I think the extractor saves them in appdata/roaming? it should be in the readme file with the extractor.

Hey Mosa how do I select a bunch of files at once so I can extract a folder of files instead of extracting them one by one which is all I have figured out so far.


pressing f12 brings up some message about the extraction folder not existing yet.

Not going to rush probably will spend the next few days sorting the files by character voice and making folders for all of them and then I will probably work on Ironhide or Jazz first.

I watched the video and I think I can make some voice packs.

Maybe I'll try to make all the voices including grunts into characters but that's just a maybe I mostly want to make packs of Ironhide, Sideswipe and Shockwave.

So If you can please put all the sound files from both games in one download you don't have to sort the voices from sound effects I can do that I would also like the voices of characters you have already done such as Optimus, Megatron, etc just to listen to as well please.
