Is it ok if I upload it for the community or do you prefer I just keep it for personal use?
I can send you the new textures if you want them regardless of your decision
Playtesting with my edits so far shows that my edits are definately working (reduced the RNG pool so fewer bottles are available), with no crash yet.
I seriously think I cracked it, or why would I be mistaken?
The one you linked is not as good as it does not rng the view model and world model to fit your hand for each new molotov on the map.
I looked into the code, and think I found a way.
in
Part1
root>materials>models>full_molo
using VTFEdit I edit the files v_rng.vmt and w_rng by making $skincount = 44.99 in both files, limiting the rng to 45 bottles instead of 194.
(also reduce the $skincount in rag.vmt and w_rag.vmt to 3.99 instead of 29.99)
Then I delete all the Bottle2, Bottle3, Bottle4 files from both parts (since they are no longer looked up for rng?).
Testing a few rounds didn't show errors yet.
Will this reduce the ram usage by around 75% to reduce crashes?
or do I make some mistake.
Any suggestion or advice?
(its for my communist playthrough)
