Try this:
/admin
/spawnitem glitchcaptainschair
/admin
So i did as you said and spawned in the captains chair, anytime i try to place it on my ship when in a multipler session my game crashes. The host does not have the mod nor does anyone else in teh session.
When host of multiplayer session doesn't have the same mods, then their content might disappear from your ship. To crate anoter console type in chat in singleplayer:
/admin
/spawnitem somacaptainschairglitch
/admin
There is a several races in that mod, so I need to change the ship for all of them.
I will look into it tomorrow.
You mostly need "universe_server.config.patch" file, change the race name to one used in "Elithian" mod and i guess youre good to go.
You need to unpack both mods.
Look at the name of the race and then rename some folders and files and also edit "universe_server.config.patch" file with notepad...
This guide will help you with unpacking:

You trying to change your ship to this one?
Make a backup of your saves and start deleting "*.shipworld" files, eventualy you reset your ship.
(Don't forget to unload all staff from your ship to planet and stay on that planet, when you exit the game)
Looks like Starbound messing with custom objects from mods.
You need to go to singleplayer, unload all staff from your ship to planet and stay on that planet.
Then backup your saves, subscribe to this mod and delete *.shipworld file in "Starbound\storage\player" folder.
If you have multiple characters, then sort files by date and delete latest shipworld file.
I can do that for a standalone version.
You need to delete "*.shipworld" file in "Starbound\storage\player" folder, but be sure to make a backup.
