P.S really nice mod with realisitc flair thumbs up
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the mod
No, not really. I actually just don't play with the Women in History DLC so I don't have female advisors.
I'd be happy to talk someone through how to make them, but it isn't a project I would be invested in.
This mod is compatible with 1.18, but I haven't updated the file to indicate that, so the game launcher will show it as outdated.
If you want to make some, I can talk you through how to do it
You need a basic familarity with a program like GIMP or Photoshop.
Ok, thanks for answering. :/
No sorry
I also made some small changes in the Muslim advisors and Inuit advisors will use asian advisor portraits. Inuit only really applies to a few of the far eastern siberian tribes.
Sorry you don't like the ratio of paintings to culture.
I've actually used quite a few ethnically Chinese paintings taken from public domain ancestor portraits (more than 2).
I don't find the ethnic ratio argument very persuasive, but I'd appreciate any assistance in finding better quality paintings.
You are welcome, I hope you enjoy it
Like in EU3? That would be pretty cool. Would be a lot of work, I'm not quite up for. Changes to the gui seem to always end up being voided by subsequent updates.
It would be possible to do something like that, but would be a bit of work. The mod matches advisor portrait style to unit graphic type. So you would need to create a set of new unit graphic types for each culture, have ET switch countries to them at some point, and then you would get the new portraits.
Good luck!
But we should try to add king and queen /prince and princess portraits
Thanks, glad you enjoy it
@jeanquit
Catlin has great material, thanks for mentioning. Unfortunately, same issue with copywrite. The current license specifies that images may not be altered.
I'll keep looking.
Thanks very much I'll take a look at Catlin.
I've look at some of the murals (for the first time actually). Beautiful. I'm just not sure the style will work. The people in the murals are very stylized, and you get a very different look. Visually I just don't think it fits for the advisor portraits. Perhaps for all my pretensions what I really want is European portraiture... ha.

@jeanquit
There seems to be enough material from modern painters for north american, but I don't know if I can navigate the copy write issues. None of the modern images I've seen are public domain. I'll look at Catlin.
Thanks for the perms, I will get back to you when it is done!
Yea, there are only so many quality paintings that will fit for Muslims in the period. I wish I had more options.
@Dmitri⁴
I don't think so, but I'm not 100%
@PC Police
Of course, thanks for asking. Go ahead and post a link here when it is included so I can see what kind of things you have (just for my own interest)
Thanks, I'll take a look.
Going with modern artist might be a good option that I haven't really explored.
This works fine for Vijaynagar for me. Yes I have done Indian.
Maybe an install problem or a mod conflict.
Are you using another mod which also provides advisor portraits?
To test it try loading with just IAP active.
Changes to western, eastern and asian portraits
Removed all monarchs (well mostly) and replaced with others
Thanks, I'll give them a look
