Thanks. Yes - it's the next ship on my to do list :)

Will this be updated for 4.0? It looks amazing!

i was lifting off from omicron if that helps :P. im pretty sure that does have high g. maybe its just me being a derp and not doing something right...

after testing it again it seems like it was mostly me not conserving power. i spawned it in quite far away and the power was running all the time it took me to get there. and even after that i went looking around for the control room for about half a minute :P

when i get into space it also says 1.5 to 1.2 minutes of power left. although if nobody else is having problems i guess its just me derping about somehow xD

wow

Are all thrusters actctive? It has plenty of power and thrust, even for high g liftoffs. Please recheck. :) I'll go and check again, too. Maybe I uploaded a wrong version?

Cataclysm was a great game! Loved it! :)
AgentSquidbeak 11 Aug, 2016 @ 8:29pm
seems like it needs more power or better power usage. i cant seem to get it into orbit :/

Interesting build :) reminds me of the ramming frigate in HW: Cata

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I've kind of built this vessel with the offset bridge in mind. Got a bit of Inspiration from the Caterpillar Transport from Star Citizen.
rphillips1986 11 Aug, 2016 @ 11:56am
Very nice build. I like that its so streamlined. Simple to navigate. I also like the offse bridge. Who says the bridge has to be right in the center! I didn't think I'd like it but I did.

Done. Oxygen and a Fridge a now in central engineering and crew quarters.
Mysh  [author] 11 Aug, 2016 @ 7:04am
I knew I forgot something with all the combat focused building. Thx ;) will integrate tehm in the next update.

Small problem I can foresee: you don't have any O2 tanks aboard, nor an O2 station, so you can't draw air to the chairs, which means your operation time is limited to Small O2 bottles...
Also, I can't tell if you're missing a Fridge, which isn't completely necessary with Canned Vegetables, but falls under the same "Necessary for Extended Operations" category.

yep. I don't know if the lateral thrust is enough or even benificial - or if she needs 1 or 2 more thrusters on the sides. Hm. :/
Fractalite 10 Aug, 2016 @ 9:03am
I confess, the ship does drift a bit when turning - the lateral thrusters cannot compensate for the mass or the prodigious power of the rear and forward facing engines. Still, that is less criticism and more personal preference on my part - I like my shipes to be able to turn on the smallest ellipse possible. In addition, if the goal is strafing then the drift matters less or could be beneficial.

Update! :)
Mysh  [author] 10 Aug, 2016 @ 6:41am
Hey, thanks a lot! :)
I said I was open for inspiration - and that was just the truth. ^^

Need to distribute the RCS better. Atm they are all at the same place, which is quote bad if the front gets hit hard. I'll improve the ship over time, because I'm not completely satisfied with the overall design. But the basics are ok, Ithink.

Agility was one of the main properties I wanted to achieve. A Corvette can't carry large double layer Combat Steel plating, so it needs to be nimble and strafe well. That's what the hammerhead does. :)

Thanks for your support!
Fractalite 9 Aug, 2016 @ 8:46pm
With regards to the design; I truely appreciate that the design is not literalist, but is inspired by the hammerhead. In addition, it also makes me eat my words about longer cylindrical designs - this works quite well. The radius from center is small, the surface area is large but not spindly so it would be easy to manuver through fire while also avoiding it, and the frontal section possesses enough armor to protect the guns. The smallish design also means that the forward firepower would likely be easy to turn towards your opponent - not a large turning radius.

I am going to try to pop over to the official empyrion forums tomorrow to give you something of a shoutout. It is rare that someone would take up such a challenge. Simply amazing!
Fractalite 9 Aug, 2016 @ 8:46pm
I cannot offer effusive enough praise for the design and for taking up the challenge. That ship MOVES like an sv, is minimalist so easy interior movement during combat and also relies on the larger Kshatra for support. The resulting design will likely be very hard to kill during pvp(imagined in my case as I play pve) but also dishing out a great deal of damage.
Fractalite 9 Aug, 2016 @ 7:45pm
Ha! You did it! Bravo sir, Bravo! It is a superlative design and it looks fantastic! Nicely done; I am going to go investigate it in creative.
Mysh  [author] 8 Aug, 2016 @ 12:32pm
Thank you! :)
