Merry Christmas :p
it closely rezembles the british churchill MK IIV
Surfer, I get where you're coming from and your intentions as Curly said are good, HOWEVER, if you do not own the copyright it's not YOUR place to make it. "Why wait for them to realize when I can do it myself?" Because it's claiming to be someone you aren't, claiming that you own the piece -sfx, music, etc.- and THAT can be considered perjury or even identity fruad {loosely but not definitively}. You want to rid the Workshop of bad things and that's admirable but there's a right and wrong way. DMCA-ing this you dislike, disagree with, feel it's your job to white knight, isn't the right way, simple.
Personal opinion, Clementine, I get your anger, but move the fuck on. From reading the comments you were using a song...that was under heavy copyright watch and you got snagged. Surfer, if it's not YOURS -meaning you created it and own the copyrights- don't DMCA, report it. Simple. It can be seen as perjury or even fraud so, just be careful if I were you.
Clementine, I understand where you're coming from, however, what Surfer is saying is, if you've posted something -music or otherwise- that was protected -heavily- you deserved the DMCA strike, point blank period. Fair Use is both solid and rocky, because from my personal understanding it's still being questioned "What is fair use?" so it leaves a very gray area that can fuck you over.
{Cont'd...}
Let's say I make my own models and upload them. Will you DMCA it? Because you're really DMCA Happy.
1) it's your fault, with every field carefully written with external links to quotes and proof of source that leads to infringement would be entitled to success to winning the case. Besides, it was you who dragged yourself to the fiery hell hole of the copyright law for uploading the lazy town song.
2) why don't you look yourself at a mirror, I think you can tell by all the comments you've posted unless you gag at every words you typed then shame on you.
3) still, you've got no good come backs from your miserable behind
"Won a copyright case"
You didn't win it. The DMCA's don't allow the person on the other end defend against it.
"Proved you being arrogant"
Arrogant how?
"Proved you've got zero ideas on a decent comeback"
But you use shitty stereotypes. That there says you have nothing else.
Let me see:
Won a copyright case
Proved you being arrogant
Proved you've got zero ideas on a decent comeback
Now pack up kid, let curly and I do our talking until we come to a solid conclusion
Man up kid, if you're not part of the conversation then you're a lost cause
Well, Curly knows what he's talking about. While Surfer doesn't and the things I say wont get through his dense head.
Shouldn't be saying "I hate niggers" on @manynames profile? Yeah do that, he probably missed that while you are trying to defend his sorry ass when he told about this B's for help :::::((((
Maybe expired but I'm not sure.
Fine, I'll ask people who's in law school then
For now, I'm skeptical of your claims until there's a statement regarding the need of permission from the copyright holder before sending a DMCA complain
