THe filing cabinet doesn't have any in-game text information to indicate that it boosts a research bench. However, I do see that selecting a research bench has the icon there to build a cabinet.

for some reason it's not compatible with the "High Tech Laboratory Facilities" mod. It's probably because of the file cabinet thing tho.

The effect does not stack with the same object, so 2 end tables would have the same effect as one, but the end table with a light is a different object.

Do cabinets stack...eg if i had two end tables and two dressers would i be able to reap all the benefits, the benefits of one end table and one dresser, or just the benefits of a dresser/the benefits of one end table...BTW love the mod...if interested in mod collab feel free to ask

@Torres if you click on the night stand theres a stockpile button, clear all and it will be purely aesthetic/lighting.

I've found the night stands are good for setting some tribalwear for prisoners to remove nudity debuffs because prisoners will wear what's on the ground in their room so this way they always have a supply, but prefer to keep the rest of my clothing in another stockpile so I avoid putting night stands in my colonists rooms because copy pasting settings gets annoying.

I had the weirdest thing happen to me, my pawns mistook the bedside table (the one that comes with a lamp) for some sort shelf or an area where you place items?.

It happened when I was organizing helmets and they're in their equipment racks and suddenly a hauler comes, grabs one of the helmets, goes to one of the rooms where the night stand is aaand places the helmet in the exact same place (hex? is it an hex?) where the nightstand is... you gotta click 2 times to discover the item is under the table.

So I decided to reinstall the stand to a different place, aaand another hauler comes, takes the helmet and places it in the next room in the other nightstand... I have no idea what's going on.

Glad to hear you're open to the idea of adding clothing set storage to the mod, albeit depending on difficulty. The new change dresser mod seems to add a similar functionality but it also adds unrealistic features such as changing skin color, and changing work clothes into battle armor set when drafted immediately. That breaks immersion for me, so I wander the workshop searching for what the Clutter mod managed to accomplish with their locker item, only without some of the errors users are reporting.

But as it stands I plan on adding MF when I get to play sometime next month as well. The modular couch is too good to pass up. And glad to see there are ways to add compatibility with the medicaddon and morebeds if i decided to use them at some point

But wait,i pasted Buildings_Furniture_GuestBedFix in the specified folder but when i logged into rimworld the log says that it cannot load the texture of the guest bed. Any ideas?

Alternative Options/Custom:
To be able to use this feature you'll need to go into MF files. Here's how:
Steam>steamapps>workshop and search 739089840. This should take you to More Furniture. When you get there click on the Alternatives folder. Then follow it's instructions.

When that happens could you please add an option to change the default storage settings for dressers and the other furniture that stores stuff or make the default not allowing anything to be stored?

@Jet: Depends on how hard it is to impliment. I also don't want to update the mod too frequently and cause game breaking issues in someone's current colony. However the next time I plan on updating, it will be for Alpha 17, which I hope to also add new objects, and features.

WolfWhiteFire, I totally agree. This should be addressed, it's nice to be able to place items in them but having it as default is a little annoying.

Could we possibly get a default option or just have the default not let anything in the object for end tables and dressers? They seem pretty good so I always build them in the individual rooms, but personally I don't want armor or weapons being put in them where it can be difficult to find the items. As a result I usually have to make one not available for storage, then paste the settings over to the other ones, so the ability to set defaults would be nice.

A slight issue I've noticed is that the dressers and possibly other furniture pieces seem to be rendered above colonists and other pawns. If a colonist or prisoner stands in the cell below a dresser, their head clips behind it.

Can't fix that because of the way objects use side textures; There's only one texture that is flipped for the other side.

Have you tried agin recently Daughter_of_darkness97. If the problem contiunes please tell me what mods you're using and in what order so I can figure out what mod is causing the problem.
