K cool I really liked that area in the middle of your saucer that has bridges to all the decks.

Wait for it... there, it grew on me. I now like the new design.
captainrampage 11 Aug, 2016 @ 6:37pm
Ah, thank you. Not sure how I feel about the design though, it looks as if J.J. had to improvise because he had already gone 'all out' on the first. Its growing on me though.
captainrampage 11 Aug, 2016 @ 4:27pm
That makes more sense, and I havnt found any pictures of the movie shots of it because its still early in the release. I really do like your builds btw, and that saucer seperation came in handy after I lost a nacelle.
T7  [author] 11 Aug, 2016 @ 4:18pm
yep
captainrampage 11 Aug, 2016 @ 4:10pm
[Spoilers] So this was the ship they built at the end of the movie? Not just another copy of the first Enterprise? I was stunned from the film and didnt pay too much attention to detail as they rebuilt it.

@Scotty. The legendary Dr Bones McCoy once famously said, "Damn it man! I'm a doctor, not an engineer." What's not so well known is the reply you slurred back in an inebriated tone, "Damn it man! You're a better engineer than I'll ever be. Me degree is fake. Scottish Whiskey University dunna exist! Aye, I lied, it canna be denied." I have the tapes and film footage. And you thought they were burnt in the fire you started. Sorry, the third fire you started. There's been so many. Perfect hair? Stop deflecting you lush! James Kirk wore a herpes on his head, everyone knows that. I agree, I will never love a woman made of metal, I like real women. Rehab. Go. Now. =P
Old Timer Mike 10 Aug, 2016 @ 1:36pm
@pautzuk Well laddie, if you were the chief engineer of a starship run by Capitan James Tiberius Perfect-Hair you would need romulan ale to. You forget that I wrote the book on starship engineering and that starfleet captains are like children. They want everything right now and they want it their way. But the secret is to give them only what they need, not what they want. And how dare you call the Enterprise to a street walker although laddie, every woman has her own charm, ye just have to know where to look for it. Seeing this ship again it’s like the first time you fall in love. You don't ever love a woman quite like that again. An old girlfriend I'll never meet again.

some holes fixed and new medbays
Hugh Manatee 10 Aug, 2016 @ 6:42am
Oops! Almost forgot. LOVE the ship! Thanks for sharing. =)
Hugh Manatee 10 Aug, 2016 @ 6:36am
@Scotty. Even now, you are shamlessly comparing the ship to a common streetwalker and how much you want to molest her. The ship is barely 10 years old! You sick ba5tard. =P
Hugh Manatee 10 Aug, 2016 @ 6:33am
@Gill_Bates aka Scotty. I question your professionalism. Inevitably, the transporter needed repairs. When the Captain would ask you how long a job would take, you would intentionally say it would take longer to give a false impression. In fact, you admitted this to Geordie LaForge. Most damning of all, your love of alcohol. You a well known hard drinker & love Romulan Ale. Romulan Ale is illegal, which makes you guilty of drug trafficking. Apart from the fact that you are a 23rd century equivilant of a drug user and smuggler, there is the far more worrying aspect that Romulan Ale stays in the human system for over a week. Chances are, you have spent your entire career at Star Fleet over the legal drinking limit. Operating machinery is not wise and driving a car while over the limit can result in the loss of your licence. You're responsible for an entire starship!! It's nigh time you were exposed as a charlatan, fraud and irresponsible alcoholic you truly are.

beautifull work

"So, the Enterprise has had its maiden voyage, has it? She is one well-endowed lady! I'd like to get my hands on her ample nacelles, if you'll pardon the engineering parlance."

- Montgomery Scott
T7  [author] 9 Aug, 2016 @ 9:38am
updated the nacelles
T7  [author] 8 Aug, 2016 @ 5:44pm

T7  [author] 8 Aug, 2016 @ 4:13pm
will do
Old Timer Mike 8 Aug, 2016 @ 1:41pm
Great ship, but just a tip from a treky, the bussard collector should clear the saucer section so you could raise the struts for the warp nacelles just a little it would make a huge difference and improve the profile of the ship, :steamhappy: but still a great ship
