Well done, don't understand why so many people don't like this kind of building in real life. So much more comfortable to live in than older dusty architecture.

There's some buildings like these in my town, it's so strangely laid out, on one side of this big road you have this rundown concrete & brick high street but on the other there's shiny white paving slabs, tree cover, grassy beds, and apartments like these all down the road, it's really weird but the side with these apartments is lovely, gonna see if I can recreate it in my city!

Actually, I want to know where in Heidelberg (the real town) these buildings are located, as I have never seen them. I can only assume that there are located within the Bahnstadt. The Bahnstadt is a brand new town district entirely made out of energy efficient houses looking similar to your houses. Additionally, your housing layout and especially the fact that trams are running nearby are remembering me of the Bahnstadt.

This buildi9ng is weird teh population and number houses keeps changing with growth its not set did you use skylines population mod or something> Changes from 11 houses to 12 to 16 then sometimes 14 or 18 houses????

@ctcatuga You can make every growable asset RICO ready, as long it as a footprint of max 4x4. Do you generally know how to create RICO assets? If not read this Guide . You have to consider that growable assets don’t have thumbnails. But thankfully there is a mod you can use to add the thumbnails.

@haus5 Hey I’m happy you like my residential buildings. I’m sorry, but I’m not planning to make some new residential buildings in the foreseeable future. I don’t have much free time lately and I really like creating transportation stuff. So this has priority.

Long question, sorry. I bought the DLC Art Deco (This is related, bear with me). Specifically under this DLC the Central and starlight hotels would grow as tourist buildings but not just in tourist designated areas, in any area, inlcuding the leisure area. I loved this actually, but I noticed they were also listed under RICO and I removed the local files so they would only be growables. When I did that, those 2 files became general commercial buildings and disappeared under leisure and tourist areas. I tried adding local RICO settings again, but then they only became ploppable, not growable.

SO, my question, how did you make this building both growable and RICO?? And do you have an idea as to what I can do to get these buildings to grow again as tourist hotels but in any district??

@BrowncoatTrekky Nope I can’t. Those tiles belong to the building. I mean they are connected with it and aren’t separate like props, decals etc. I created all together.

@Joak. Thanks for the reply... figured out the park stuff a little while ago... even made a community dedicated to you and Ngon. However, your high residential is a 3x3 and looks like sits on a 4x3. Obviously you're the creator and will take your word for it, but if you have s link to that white tile prop/decal you used that sits between the buildings... a link would be appreciated.

@BrowncoatTrekky Every building has on one side a 3x1 pavement. But perhaps you mean the park in the middle of the complex shown in the pictures. Just click on the “Park” symbol in the description above.

Love your work. Do you have the link for the 1x1 white tiles you used between yoru buildings? I am not sure I recall seeing it in the prop pacl.

@fflip8 I think this problem do have all buildings that are growable and ploppable at the same time, at least in my city. So it is a mod issue, nothing I can do about. But be grateful that there is a mod that allows you to place growable buildings.
If you don’t want to use the RICO version I think you can just delete the RICO xml file in the folder where this asset is saved on your pc.

These buildings are terrible. When you remove roads, they stay, and you can't place roads through them. The only way to remove is using the bulldoze tool, and that's not viable when these account for 10% of your high residential buildings.

@SPECTRE Have you enabled RICO mod? I never imported this asset as a park. It’s one growable asset but with RICO function. Perhaps try also resubscribing this asset.
