Feldspar 28 Dec, 2021 @ 11:02am
FYI the flag you have for portugal was only used after the EU4 timeframe (just remove the blue part)
StrayCat 22 May, 2021 @ 11:27pm
And just as an FYI to the mod creator....the flags of Luneburg and Brunswick are switched. Otherwise this is just a terrific mod.
StrayCat 21 May, 2021 @ 10:56am
For anyone checking out this mod.....it works for the current game version 1.31.3 using the mod Banners 4.0 1.31 if you're looking for a banner look rather than shield.

This is one of the best flag mods I've come across, and I've tried many of them.
AshtheBoss0326 27 Jan, 2021 @ 4:36pm

Praetoria 22 Nov, 2017 @ 11:34am
Can we update this mod, it would be much appreciated.
Cruzado Parahybano 4 Oct, 2017 @ 12:43pm
The Portuguese flag wasn't that one. It came with the Porto/Liberal Revolution of 1820.
Jaunt 3 Oct, 2017 @ 9:32pm
Great mod especially when combined with "banner flags" mod.
piratical criminal 23 Aug, 2017 @ 8:08am
not sure if its possible, but if it is, can you expand the mod to include revolutionairy flags as well?
Satchmanje 17 Jul, 2017 @ 9:10pm
These flags are awesome. Would love to see this updated for Third Rome.
Rektroyer 16 Jun, 2017 @ 10:01am
I like this mod. Though I want to know how you decided which flag to use for the Ottomans.

None atm. But I am sure new tags will be added. :P
Fatuous Lord  [author] 18 May, 2017 @ 11:45am
Any ideas on what to add? I remade EVERY single flag
alidarjarok2 18 May, 2017 @ 9:58am
Really like the mode. I hope you keep adding to it. Nice work.
Fatuous Lord  [author] 28 Apr, 2017 @ 9:30pm
Dude I'm using the mod myself, it works perfectly even if outdated.
I'll update it tomorrow though
Mr. Ken Tucky 28 Apr, 2017 @ 12:11pm
By the time you took to update this mod, paradox churned up yet another patch and now it's outdated again
Fatuous Lord  [author] 16 Apr, 2017 @ 2:05pm
ie: pick a nation and click play
Fatuous Lord  [author] 16 Apr, 2017 @ 2:05pm
Does the game even boot for you tito? or it crashes when you click 'play'?
Mr. Ken Tucky 16 Apr, 2017 @ 10:08am
For the love of God, update this mod already. The vanilla flags make my eyes bleed
Fatuous Lord  [author] 12 Apr, 2017 @ 11:56am
It isn't but it works for 1.20, I'll update it in the weekend
Summary 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:57pm
Ahh thanks! This mod is really the ultimate flag mod. Accurate flags, instead of generic chicken shaped eagles for German duchies, and other European variants are also cool. Is this mod updated for Ming 1.20?
Fatuous Lord  [author] 19 Mar, 2017 @ 9:40am
I'm aware of that, pretty sure I included the original too as a replacement, in case you don't like this one just go to the mod folder and delete POR.tga
I chose it due to it being prettier.
Summary 19 Mar, 2017 @ 12:55am
The Portuguese flag is the one used during 1830 to 1910, outside of the timeline of the game. The flag used during this timeline was a plain white background with the same coat of arms.

Fatuous Lord  [author] 5 Jan, 2017 @ 7:59pm
Of course, no problem
Elyric Vengence 5 Jan, 2017 @ 3:47pm
can i use part of your mod in my own if i credit you
Zyklon Beekeeper 12 Nov, 2016 @ 5:26pm
@MostHatedCandidate (((They))) are the corrupters of everything.
Fatuous Lord  [author] 31 Oct, 2016 @ 7:21pm
It is.
It isn't Google nor Skype compatible though :^)
Polskers 29 Oct, 2016 @ 11:30am
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inti - This page also provides some context of the usage of the Inca Sun God, Inti, as a bridge between the indigenous and the European Spanish.
Polskers 29 Oct, 2016 @ 10:35am
The populace is now primarily white, yes, of Spanish, Italian, and some German. Take it from the guy who lives here now (also a historian/academic researcher). There were a small number of indigenous peoples who lived in Argentina before the Spanish conquest and settlement, and even some degree of miscegenation as in other Spanish colonies (but not the same extent). I don't see it so much as implying a deep connection with the indigenous peoples, but rather as a bridge between the European peoples who came there and the land which, whilst sparsely inhabited, still contained natives.
Fatuous Lord  [author] 29 Oct, 2016 @ 12:43am
Well it implies that Argentina has a deep connection which the indigenous people that inhabitated the area, and as far as I know they are white (I think)
Polskers 29 Oct, 2016 @ 12:19am
Oh I know the meaning of it, I live in Argentina now and see it everywhere. It's a common motif on flags in the Rio de la Plata region (Argentina/Uruguay) and formerly on the flag of Peru. But it is certainly not a bad substitute for the Charrúa as they start off in La Plata. It's probably the best they could substitue for it.
Fatuous Lord  [author] 28 Oct, 2016 @ 11:08pm
Of course senseless revisionism is pointless and utterly idiotic.
Fatuous Lord  [author] 28 Oct, 2016 @ 11:08pm
The Inti Sun God flag is actually a modern interpretation of the meaning of the Sun of May, which is actually based on Sol Invictus and european heraldry, not indigenous symbology.
Polskers 28 Oct, 2016 @ 10:07pm
Thanks! I used to live in ROC for awhile. ;) Loved it there!

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a9/Mbya_Guarani_Flag.svg - Guarani flag

As for the Charrúa flag, I'm not sure where to find a source for it as the Spanish/Uruguayan authorities never designated or recorded a flag for them as a people, although the Inti Sun God flag EU4 has in vanilla is... not a bad substitute.
Fatuous Lord  [author] 28 Oct, 2016 @ 9:41pm
Polskers, nice KMT flag ;)
could you link said flags please?!
Polskers 28 Oct, 2016 @ 8:15pm
The Guarani use a dark blue/green flag in a horizontal bicolour, from my knowledge. Wikipedia/Wikicommons also provides an image as a source. As for Charrua, I'm not sure.
