Dear everyone,

I'm sorry to say this, but I probably won't update my weapon mods since my work on the inevitable weapon megapack is nearly complete. However, this statement might change later in the future if I decide that progress on the weapon megapack is going nowhere.

Nvm, the ninjato uses a very generic melee sounds, so it's probably going to be Dragonblade lol.

Actually, interestingly, this mod is compatible with LW2 in a way... Classes that still use pistols as a sidearm can still use this, like the rogue.

Done, HOTS also has Genji, Lucio, D.Va and Zarya in case you want anything specific sounds from them, this includes both weapons and their abilities.

Alright. I extracted the sounds, atm they included.
1 Attack Start Sound (When you tap only once)
2 Loop Attack Sounds
2 Reload Sounds (There's technically more in the game files, but I don't think we need that many, or it may not even be needed at all so I only brought 2)
2 End Attack Sounds.

You probably won't need all of them, but I get them just in case.

How do you want me to send the files?

Have you been able to get the Pulse Pistol sounds yet? If not, Heroes of the Storm have Tracer, and her firing sounds are pretty much the same and it's a lot easier to get the sounds from that than OW.

I can get them for you if you wish.

For those who want to use this for LW2, download the Xskin Mod that allows you to change a weapon's appearance (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=707548632) .

Then add the following lines into the config file "XComSkinSystem.ini" for this mod:
+SkinConfigs=(BaseTemplateName="LWPistol_CV", TemplateName="OWPULSEPISTOL")
+SkinConfigs=(BaseTemplateName="LWPistol_MG", TemplateName="OWPULSEPISTOL")
+SkinConfigs=(BaseTemplateName="LWPistol_CG", TemplateName="OWPULSEPISTOL")
+SkinConfigs=(BaseTemplateName="LWPistol_BM", TemplateName="OWPULSEPISTOL")

You can now change the appearance, firing animations, & projectiles of the pistols in LW2 to use Tracer's Pulse Pistol. Note: these changes are only cosmetic and do not affect weapon stats.

I'm a bit unclear on how the pulse bomb's supposed to work- I threw it and it didn't seem to explode for some weird reason.

I'm aware of the weapons not being compatible with LW2. I'll update these weapon when I have a chance, since OW weapons will not be included in the weapon megapack.

Thanks for the reply. BTW, this mod is not compatible with the Long War 2 mod. Pistols have now been made into a usuable item, rather than a secondary weapon.

It works with any class that can wield a pistol (Sharpshooters in Vanilla, Heavy Gunner/Assault/Sharpshooter/etc if you are using LWPP). It's a secondary weapon.

The Pulse Bomb is a throwable proximity mine.

I want to port as many weapons from Weapons of the New Millenia as possible, or until people get sick of them. There will be ports from other games, but it'll take some time while I get the mesh, texture and materials correct. Same goes for Mass Effect, although I don't even have the models ripped from the game, so it complicates things.

If you wanted to add the Chronal Accelerator one way you could achieve it is as a vest that grants the Teleport ability (using the Avatar's animation for it). One turn cooldown, one AP and range limited to ten tiles. Would mimic Blink quite neatly imo.

You need to research a specific item to get it (Balance reasons of course).

If you're really impatient, then turn on the console, then type in additem OWPULSEBOMB 10 while in the strategy layer (BaseView and Geoscape).

I always considered Tracer's guns to be SMGs, like an Uzi. Another thought, maybe you can add Tracer's Chronal Accelerator as a utility item, maybe requiring Codex Brains to make, maybe limited to one, and it has the passive effect of giving the user Shadowstep and a Mobility bonus, but graphically it gives the effect of teleporting from point to point like Tracer does in Ovewatch.

I'm not sure if it would make any sense making it an SMG, but we'll see. It would probably make more sense as machine pistols.

The dual wielding is something I would like to see, but that would require a lot of new animations, for tactical, armory, maybe more (I estimate about 150 new animations).
