Not sure if you've seen this... o_siyeza's worked out how to get secondary weapons closer to torsos: How to fix the Position of the Guns
There isn't any technical reason for not to allowing it.
Hell YEAHS!
I noticed it when I started a new game after subscribing to your mod.
The soldiers appear as floating heads on the Avenger when idling in various rooms (such as the soldiers drinking in the Bar/Memorial room). Even if I have my soldiers wear default armor, they would still appear as floating heads.
Other than that, all soldiers appear normally during customizing at Armory, deploying to or returning from battle, during battle, etc. Even the armorless kevlar parts show up properly during those times.
Nevertheless I fully appreciate your mod and thank you for the good work and effort!
Thanks for all the time/effort you put into the modding scene
I've done a bit more probing on this one. It seems any character from my character pool that was created before the mod was installed is still showing up with a body in the avenger (i.e. appearing correctly).
However, any character made after, regardless of whether they have Kevlar parts incorporated, will adopt the floating heads policy. Not sure if this is any help at all, but figured it was an interesting point worth noting :p
