I got all the way to the end, and there I was trying to normal cube to fling to the end. >.<

Very cool. Though I had no idea that the blue cube could shoot gel or water, which made it very frustrating until I noticed it in the comments of this map later.

This map is good like the others, but I think the wall with the middle door could reach the ceiling. With all the bouncing going on it's tempting to spend a while tring to jump over the top of it.

@cogitationofnationstates - This map is ment to be played with the others and was made way before Steam Workshop. This is why "The Very Basics" was put on the collection along with the other puzzles.

This is a good map, but please be aware that many players will come across this map from the Quick Play list and will not have seen the first map of the series. A pop-up message saying "While holding cube, left-click to shoot gel and right-click to shoot water" would be in order, here.

A good concept; I liked that it took me a while to understand what to do with the cube. Please expand upon this.

You know in the 1st game (The very Basic) I was upset because I did'nt know the cube could shoot goo. Now its like "WOW" you did something Super with that cube. Me like this very much. Heres what i did in very short words...
pick up blue cube and shoot blue goo onto companion cube on red button, then walk across grates and step on faith plate, press button and take companion cube, shoot portal above red button and onto floor and drop down, place companion cube on red button, shoot portal below you and go back to where blue cube is, take blue cube through door and shoot blue goo onto the companion cube, then place blue cube onto the red button and leave through door. Thats all Folks...

When up on the second level - blue gel the corner, bounce strafe and take the regular cube with you to the exit. Skip the center platform...

good seeing the blue gel cube.
it was challenging. figuring it out & implimentation
I put blue gel on the corners of the lower button, to jump off after placing the cube. but while one corner, the blue gel did not react, the other corner did. veerryy strange, as both corners completly covered.

This is amazing, other than the slight bug of being able to make your own gel cube bouncy, and that the seprate button really doesn't have a lot of room for error in terms of moving, this is Valve-worthy. :D

Great map, glad to see that you're now using the Old Aperture textures. Only problem was that the RRC will eventually get covered in Repulsion Gel after spewing it for certain periods of time.

I really love the theme of the main chamber, plants and decay.

As korktur points out, when you place goo on the ledge, nearest to the lower cube on the button, and then use the goo to jump onto the button, you get stuck. Even if the button platform is actually covered in goo (did some noclip testing). It might be a good idea to use the grey railing (near exit door), here as well to discourage the player to jump onto the lower button directly. Or add some one-sided grating to the side of the button, Goo may then pass but direct jumps will not be tried.

I restarted the map 2 times because I thought I was stuck (other than in the above case), but actually was not. Seems like the new goo gun concept just needs to be leared by the players.

Anyway, I like the new goo gun and the map.

might want to tweak the checkpoints a little. first time through i jumped to the first box/button and then found i couldn't get back and when dying got stuck back there so had to restart.

I solved it the same as Fraggy. It worked, but it didn't feel right. Also, I think the slow-cube-falling is caused by pushing the button a second time, as once you push it the first time, it automatically respawns the cube if it falls in the water.

good one. One suggestion is that I think you should have a switch by the blue cube because I got back down the the beginning with the cube stuck at the top and had to start over (obviously I didn't solve the puzzle as intended but could have got back up if I had the switch).

The second box dropper seems to have a bug where it drops a cube really slowly. Other then that great map.

The way ReepBlue has been making these maps is by a program called hammer editor. It comes with Portal 2.

Very puzzling. Yet i've found a few ways to get stuck. Such as you cannot get bakc up to the normal areas if you jump to the lower portal platform near the water.

Very buggy and easy to get stuck. For instance, the upper cube dropper only spawns the cube once. All dropper should force spawn the cube when triggered a button. Otherwise, great concept and puzzle. Just don't make the player get stuck and fix the bugs.
