Does not work for me in Community Edition. For some reason most of the graphics (icons) in my inventory and toolbar went missing but came back again once I unload the mod. Tried again just to be sure. Such a shame, nice mod as I recall.

Yes before the developers were laid off or merged with SE and the game put on hold, there were a few modders in Keen's Discord that were working on limestone and other kind of rendered stone walls. The first screenshots they posted looked beautiful. I wish it had happened.
CassioMJR 6 Aug, 2019 @ 9:43am
Oh. Thx STORI3D PAST Productions. Any way, that would be an interesting mod, don't you think? In fact the Middle Ages Castles were not always pure stone, they where covered by a surface of mortar, mainly white, as you can see here: https://schlossthun.ch/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/schloss-und-niesen.jpg
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 6 Aug, 2019 @ 7:53am
Hi Cassio. Sorry, that's just something that I did on my own computer with the files that the game gave us -- I altered the color of the texture block to be white instead of gray. There's no set of blocks like that in the game.
CassioMJR 6 Aug, 2019 @ 6:39am
I would like to know where did you get this white wall with window?. I'd like to build a white castle

I'm having trouble with crashes while placing the single iron bars on catch blocks
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 2 Mar, 2019 @ 6:57am
Right now servers are having real trouble with the game. Strange errors and crashes are being reported. I think part of it is game bugs and part is Steam messing up downloads. You might need to remove & delete the mod from the server, snd then resubscribe and redownload.
Seraphim Goth 2 Mar, 2019 @ 6:11am
Hei. My dedicated server don't like this mod, complain about invalid character path and CTD.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 17 Feb, 2019 @ 4:16pm
This is a frustrating new game bug. It happens with all modded textures -- any mod that uses a non-vanilla texture. Good news is the fix is easy. The easiest way is to hit Alt-F11. That will open up a window on the right side of the screen. Press "Reload Textures" and that should do it. If that doesn't work, save the world, and then press F5. That will do a full quick restart, and always fixes the problem. The devs know about it, and will hopefully fix it soon!
goose. 17 Feb, 2019 @ 3:29pm
every time i place it, it appears as a missing texture, how can i fix this???
AgentX 24 Jan, 2019 @ 7:37am
No problem, keep up the good work as always! Hope when 0.7 hits it won't be too hard, but we know how Keen is. :)
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 24 Jan, 2019 @ 7:25am
Wow, that is strange. I’ll check it out for the new big 0.7 update that Keen is planning & try to resolve it. Thanks.
AgentX 24 Jan, 2019 @ 3:20am
Had this error pop up recently on my dedicated server, never saw it pop up before until now. No idea what would have caused it to pop up now, but not for the time I've had it (which has been a while).

Not sure if that error's entirely important or not, but figured I'd pass it along.

I wish this kinda stuff was vanilla.
C3ntron 29 Dec, 2017 @ 4:46am
Hi Stori3D, great work.

How would you think of implementing some nice iron-bar style rope hooks? I tried attaching the vanilla one for a gate to pull up and down, but the mounting of that: I just cans seem to make it look nice. :-(
Also would be great if there would be also a corner piece only for a 2D plane. Now the corner piece goes around the corner.
Thanks for your nice stuff!
64bitrobot 29 Nov, 2017 @ 9:45am
Seems to be working just fine now. Thanks for the quick fixes.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 29 Nov, 2017 @ 7:31am
There, fixed and tested in Survival. Thanks for your patience! Let me know if you see any other issues, but I think it should all be working right now.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 29 Nov, 2017 @ 7:27am
Ah-hah! I see what happened. There's a new system in the game for stackable items. I forgot to add that to my iron bars. I will add that, test it, and then upload again.
64bitrobot 29 Nov, 2017 @ 7:02am
Good news. That seemed to work just fine and I can access making them now. Bad news, it appears to glitch out when crafting, it fills up the craft progress bar, but when it finishes, it just sits there, uncrafted. I'm going to see if it's specifically an issue with the forge or if it's just the mod if I can.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 29 Nov, 2017 @ 5:27am
Hi again 64bitrobot. OK, I checked. Yeah that's weird. There is a "Military Hardening" category in the game's files, but it doesn't seem to show up in the game. I have fixed my mod so that you can unlock all the iron bars with "Civilian Metal Tools," which does show up. And then the turn cross/hand crank is unlocked with the "Military Mechanics" branch -- same as the vanilla wooden crank wheel. Thanks for letting me know about this!
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 29 Nov, 2017 @ 3:54am
Hi 64bitrobot. Oh it sounds like there is still old code in the mod. I will check it this morning & sort that out. Thanks!
64bitrobot 28 Nov, 2017 @ 8:38pm
Hi, I'm trying to use this mod but it says I need to research metal hardening...but I don't see metal hardening in my research list at all.
Skallabjorn 24 Nov, 2017 @ 8:46am
cool, yeah anything with the metal parts would be all metal craftable, but agree variety adds spice
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 8:40am
Hey Skallabjorn. No I've left it so that you still need to use iron. I could look at doing a bronze version, might be a nice way to add variety. (The iron turn cross is actually made with "metal parts" though, so technically you could make those parts from bronze and still get an "iron" turn cross.)
Skallabjorn 24 Nov, 2017 @ 8:24am
can these be made with say bronze or copper now? or still just iron?
Bronze Republic 9 Nov, 2017 @ 7:34pm
Hey Stori3d, I was wondering if you could create a dome to use on the roofs. It would allow me and other builders to create many new buildings. Thank you!
Lord Acer 14 May, 2017 @ 5:05pm
Thank you for your response
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 4:25pm
Hi Lord Acer! I am not maintaining separate versions of my mods on the Workshop. That would be too much work and time. Luckily I did keep a copy of the old code for most of this! I put it up at the Dropbox website: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hatumkewqc3gxo5/IronBars.Old420?dl=0 . Change the "Old420" to "sbc" and then you can use those old data files to make the iron bars work in 0.4. I don't know if they will work in Survival, but they should still be placeable in Creative mode at least.
Lord Acer 14 May, 2017 @ 3:59pm
Hello, you can write me the sbm file number of this mod but from the previous from the old mode farmer
96 14 Jan, 2017 @ 5:56pm
it works now, thanks for your help! :D
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 14 Jan, 2017 @ 5:27pm
Hey Panzer. This is a bug with the game in general. Sometimes even in vanilla, if I have blocks that are damaged, they take on a different texture in the game. Try saving, closing, and then reloading. That always fixes the texture issue for me. This problem lies in the actual game code rather than my mod. I wish I could fix it on my end, but it's out of my hands!
96 14 Jan, 2017 @ 3:18pm
when im using this mod, all block fragments and damaged blocks have the same texture as used on the iron bars D:
wolfgar7474 5 Nov, 2016 @ 7:25am
Hi STORI3D. I had an idea if you wanna take a shot at it.
http://brk.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Swivel-Bearing.jpg
Use the wheel rotor model make a small bearing with it. This would be perfect for these iron blocks. We could make our own custom gates with small blocks and thin timber. Hanging and swinging parts much better wagon wheels linkage designs. Ball and chain weapons on a windmill rotor. Many movable parts. This would be a game changing mod. Hope you like idea! Regards Wolf.

Here is a Banner pole idea for peeps if they have'nt already discovered this. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=792738445

Haha, it's the little things in life that are the most important :)
worldprop 1 Nov, 2016 @ 2:59pm
Thank you Storied Past, I can now cage my slaves. >:D
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 1 Nov, 2016 @ 2:23pm
You bet, wolfgar. I honestly can't wait to see how you use it. I hope it's helpful!
wolfgar7474 1 Nov, 2016 @ 2:11pm
Uh oh you added a new block to my favorite mod! Time to put the imagination cap on lol. Thanks STORI3D for your work ;)
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 1 Nov, 2016 @ 7:28am
There you go World Prop. It was a great suggestion, and I've added it to the mod. I hope you enjoy!
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 1 Nov, 2016 @ 5:28am
Hi World Prep. I do want to make corners, I have been thinking about that for a while. I may sit down with it this week and see if I can add a couple more options.
worldprop 28 Oct, 2016 @ 2:54pm
I love this mod, however it need more blocks.. Like corners and other things to build cages
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 18 Sep, 2016 @ 5:32am
Hey wolfgar, that's a great suggestion. Basically make them "stick" together with overlapping collisions? I can definitely look into that. I've got a couple ideas on it too. Next time I crack open the fbx files I'll see if there's a way to make it work.
wolfgar7474 17 Sep, 2016 @ 12:01pm
Lol great minds think a like. Yours is deffinitly greater. In my other game where i'm actually smart enough. I had same problem. i'm not quite sure how this collision and hit box works with what your working with but i ended up making my 45 degree piece longer then the collision box but gave the piece itself a collision read. The pieces would snap together fine then and would snap to a object at the end of itself and the leftover disapeared into the object. I was not able to get anything to snap to it on the side ot top without a gap, but the 45 degree piece we have now takes up a whole wall collision space. I don't know if this is any help but worth a shot. Thanks for your time.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 11:45am
I've been looking at the same thing, wolfgar. There's a bit of a hitch, though. I'm having trouble getting two 1x1 blocks to "lock in" together at a 45-degree angle. Each 1x1 cube wants to lock into something directly horizontally or vertically next to it, not at an angle. I'll keep looking for a solution.
wolfgar7474 17 Sep, 2016 @ 10:22am
Hi, loving this mod. Opening some many possiblities. Is there anyway if you get time and or if you even wanna mess with it, but make a 45 degree angle iron bar block. I think this would open up more building possibilties. Please and Thanks for all you do STORI3D!
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 9:55am
Great news! I'm really glad it's working.
s.roenz 17 Sep, 2016 @ 9:31am
Now it works. Thank you ! :)
s.roenz 17 Sep, 2016 @ 9:14am
Okay, thank you. It`s really a cool Mod,that should be in Vanilla.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 9:11am
That's very strange. And it must be frustrating! I will take another look and see if there is anything in my code that could be making a conflict -- maybe files named the same or something.
s.roenz 17 Sep, 2016 @ 8:58am
Yes,i am using sometimes a few other Mods, but it still doesn`t work, even if i do not use other Mods :(
